Awesome! I needed help last minute and these guys were able to accommodate. They did an excellent job and worked hard to get my household goods loaded and moved to where I needed it.

Two movers arrived unprepared for the job-no tools, flat tire on dolly, no gloves. I had to reload the trailer because it was poorly packed for long, cross country trip. They did not know how to engage loading ramp or bulkhead trailer doors.

They worked a total of 3 hours-the last 4th hour we rendered first aide to one of the movers-the trailer ramp fell on his ankle when they were finishing loading.

In the confusion-I signed the bill for four hours of work (my bad). I contacted the owner to request a credit. I was scolded for not calling to communicate arrival and departure times. I explained the situation, he told me that injured guy didn't work for him-the lead guy brought him in place of another unavailable worker, he knew about the injury and that the guy was okay. He never bothered to thank me for providing first aide (wrapping the guy's ankle, getting ice from a neighbor, giving him pillows to elevate his ankle, ibuprofen, etc).

Instead of offering to "make it right" he began complaining about the poor work history of his worker. He said, "I have been giving this guy too many chances. He has been working with me for over 2 years and I think I am going to have to let him go. I trained him myself. The only reason I keep him is because his parents beg me to give him another chance. None of the other workers want to work with him because he is so unreliable. Even the 'gay' guy doesn't want to work with him because he mocks him and doesn't work".

He had the audacity to tell me that he was rated #1 in Houston for the excellent service reviews and that "I was his man" for my next moving job. Not likely.

Did I get my $60 credit for the last unworked hour? Nope. But maybe I should bill him my standard $125/hour counseling session rate for listening to HIS complaints about HIS unreliable worker that HE knew was unreliable. Scheesh.

Mover's response:
I get it, You’re upset because you were charged over time but you don’t have to lie like that. You knew the job was going to go overtime, all this talk is irrelevant AND also you are very ungrateful and disrespectful and treated us horribly after we helped you out with other stuff that wasn’t on the order, you wanted us to do the impossible and we still got your move done, all this because you’re upset about pricing after we are one of the lowest costing movers on hire a helper. You are pathetic. Stop
Lying to yourself. WE ALSO NOTICED YOU WERE TAKING ILLEGAL DRUGS! That was already a red flag. You should Get a life you salop disrespectful fish.
