We hired them to unload our furniture and stuff from upack trailer. They were on time. Very polite, friendly and efficient. Finished work on time. Very reasonable pricing! We are extremely happy with their service! We will definitely recommend them.

These guys mean business. They were very professional. They took great care in loading and unloading the truck. They went up and down two flights of stairs loading and unloading. They didn't complain or take breaks. They were non-stop for four hours. I would definitely hire them again.

Alonso and Eddie were amazing! From start to finish, they handled everything with care, professionalism, and great attitudes. They arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made the entire move so much less stressful. They were careful with all my belongings and made sure everything was securely loaded and unloaded. On top of that, they were kind, respectful, and super easy to communicate with. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience—thank you both so much for making a hectic day go smoothly!

Highly recommend Alonso and Eddie to anyone needing reliable, hardworking movers!

The movers were very courteous and careful with our things. They did a great job unpacking a 16-ft POD for us, and they put all of our furniture and boxes in the proper rooms of our new home.

The packing was very unprofessional and they didn’t use the supplies provided. They didn’t listen to how we wanted things done. They left an hour and a half early without packing the garage because they had another job. The company won’t refund my $225 for the time they left early. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. AWFUL!!!!!

The items haven’t been unpacked yet. The only discrepancy which was stated in the review you left after this one was the box type used. The crew packed 3 boxes before finding your dish pack boxes then instantly serviced the dish packs. On 7/14 you left this review. On 7/15 you left a review stating you would know the condition of the contents after you unpacked. The only issue with our service was you sent the movers home at 6:45 pm the first day as stated in my other reply. You then released the payment from your phone for the pre booked 7 hours. The paperwork we submitted is for 5.5 hours. We also told porch/hireahelper we would work with you on this (on a recorded call) because of how the uptoned your voice messages where. Even though the policy is no refunds which is stated on your order. Do to us blocking off your time slot to not take other jobs on.

Beware. Didn’t stay the allotted hours without finishing the job. Charged us for 7 hours and only worked 5.5 hours. They said they had another Job and would finish the next day but the same crew did not show up the next day. They will not refund my money even though I called them as they were finishing up. They were insistent that my husband sign their phone. And I called right away before they left. Called 4 or 5 times. No resolve. Do not use them. Not professional at all. Didn’t use the special boxes provided for dishes. Just stuffed them in a box. We will see once we unpack.

Mover's response:
We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication or confusion that may have occurred. The packing crew assigned to you on the first day was scheduled and prepared to work the full pre-booked 7 hours. However, at approximately 6:45 PM (5.5 hours into the job), the crew was dismissed by Mrs. Sarah due to the time of night stating she wanted to get dinner and she had a crew coming for 5 hours the following day.

Please note that our crew had no other appointments that evening, as we do not schedule jobs with that of late start times. Mrs. Sarah signed the time-stamped paperwork confirming 5.5 hours of service on the first day on the crews paperwork. She then also released the 7-hour prepayment via the link sent by Porch Moving Group to her . As with all providers, Smart Move does not handle billing directly; all payments and billing are managed through Porch Moving Group.

Per the policy, pre-booked time slots are non-refundable. Our team spent a total of 10.5 hours on-site over the two days and remained each day until they were dismissed by the customer.

The movers were helpful and prompt. They made short work of our Packrat and we’re mindful not to damage any of our items. If you need help unloading, these are the folks for you!
