Were originally scheduled to come at 8am, but the day before the move they gave me a call telling me that they had another quick job in the morning, and whether it would be OK to start at 1 pm firm, or possibly even earlier. I had a 4-hour moving plan, so I said fine. They called me at 12:30 on the day of the job, saying that the first job took longer than the mover anticipated, and that they will be arriving at 2pm. They arrived at 2:30 and by the time they arrived we had already started stretch wrapping our furniture, and everything was ready to be wrapped in furniture pads and go. All together it took them about 2 and half hours to move our furniture (including 20 min drive time), though they looked a bit tired after their morning jobs. Everything went fine, just a couple of very minor bumps of the furniture here and there, but I asked them to use furniture pads liberally, and bumps do normally happen when moving large pieces of furniture through tight doorways. Overall we had a great experience, and they were reasonable in authorizing hireahelper.com to refund an hour's worth on my request.

Lucky Movers was great! They called 45 minutes before they arrived at 9:30, which was just what I asked for, between 9 and 10. They were quick, efficient, careful with my belongings and respectful. They supplied all the equipment I needed. It was the most professional move I have ever made. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them highly to everyone.

Professional and quick. We had to reschedule are move and they were very accommodating. We had two helpers arrive with a 24' truck. They were a little late, but called to communicate so no problems. They worked quickly, and we ended up having them move more than we had planned on and payed them for a few extra hours -- well worth it! We're still unpacking, but so far no signs of damage. No hesitation recommending them to friends.

Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
