The movers hired to load our truck were very nice and on time. They were also willing to work overtime. However, the U-Haul truck was packed in a very haphazard, illogical manner. They were told more than once that a particular large moving box had crystal inside and it was clearly marked (GLASS, FRAGILE) all over the box. They stacked two boxes ON TOP of it in the truck, one of which was the heaviest box of all. Needless to say, several items including a vase and antique light fixture were destroyed in the box marked, "Glass." Also, an antique mirror frame was crushed, completely broken in half and the decorative crest broke off. In addition, my furniture was badly scratched: my bedroom dresser has 2 huge gashes that did not exist before; the headboard of our bed, and the leather couch were badly scratched. The workers who later helped us unload at our destination in Montreal said in all their years of experience that they have never seen a truck packed in such an unprofessional manner.

I hired two men for 3 hours. They completed the job in about 2. Were quick, but weren't as careful with some of my wood furniture as I would have like, found scratches and dings on it. They stacked boxes labeled HEAVY on top of boxes labeled FRAGILE. They didn't bring ANY tools, dollies, or wrapping. So make sure your furniture is wrapped, boxed, and ready to go. Ask your super for a dolly or buy one if you don't live in a full service building.
Overall, they got the job done, but I wasn't thrilled with the service. Price was good.

CNS was fine. They arrived on time and willingly stayed an extra hour when I needed more help. My one complaint was that most of my boxes were placed into the space on their side or face down, despite having "fragile" written on the boxes. Everything made the trip without damage, but it still made me a little nervous.

I had booked two helpers to move apartments within the same building. They arrived on time. They moved all the stuff at a good pace. However, they didn't bring any tools except a screwdriver. I had to provide the rest. They also were very careless withy bed. They almost broke it trying to hurry. They seems very in experienced in moving.
