Chris and Carl were incredibly professional and excellent movers! They arrived very promptly and got to work, and intuitively knew how to move all of the boxes into my storage box without any issues. They were very expedient and finished about half an hour early, and all of my items were stored well. Furthermore they were incredibly friendly and professional. Highly recommend for anyone consider hiring movers! They know exactly what to do.

They were on time. Very professional. Very respectful of myself and my property. Worked from the minute they arrived till the minute they left. It was extremely hot out that day so I offered them Gatorade. They called in and left. I would recommend them again.

I thought that my crew of two gentlemen worked extremely hard! They were on time, and prepared to work hard. They had to move a piano and didn’t even flinch. A lot of the other pieces that they had to move from the POD were very heavy as well. They were respectful, and yes, I would definitely use them again!

I was very pleased with the 2 movers that were sent to help me load furniture into the POD that I had rented. They arrived on time after calling to confirm my appointment. Both were very polite and friendly. They got right to work using the furniture pads, etc that I had provided. I was impressed with their skill & speed....they obviously are good at what they do. I appreciate how well they treated my furniture, taking time to make sure that it was secured and giving me tips on how to pack around the furniture. Although the overall cost was higher than I would have liked to pay, this service was extremely helpful to me since I live out of state and needed help right away. I was not disappointed.

Truck was nor large enough. Items had to be left. It is suggested that a representative pre-check the residence to determine size of load. Workers were required to load then unload items then reload to adjust for room for as many items as possible. Result: time was lost (customer's time) and items were not delivered. End result: move was not completed. Over all, workers did well with what they had to work with; management failed in not providing adequate equipment. Dissatisfied CUSTOMER.

Hi Jerry,
I would like to say thank for using us for your move and glad we served you. As for pre checking residents homes, Hire A Helper and nor most all moving companies don't due so. Only time we go out to the residence before hand, is on long distance moves. If a customer really request us to go out to look at there residence on a local move and its close by, I could make a exception. As for the truck size, we have the biggest truck they make besides a semi truck at 26 feet. We offered to come back and get all items left over but you said we got everything over you needed and would have a donation place pick up the last few things. Again, I apologize about the size of the truck, but we don't offer 53 feet semis for local moves.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

Our customers will get a call from one of our staff to confirm there details of their move and to introduce ourselves as the moving company that will be doing the move for them. We will make sure we help figure the absolute best route to help our customer be fully prepared move day to save them time and money on their move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

They can expect us to show up to there home or place that we are doing work at for them, to prove our 5 ?? services. The can feel confident that our company and the people that work for the company take great pride in the work they do. Our movers will be fully prepared and trained to all give 5 ?? services to them.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

There’s many things that can be done to help the move go smooth, safe, efficient which will help the cost of the move significantly. Having as many things properly labeled and boxed up as possible, in similar size boxes to help reduced boxes being damaged. Having the closes and properly paved surface/path for a truck or container to back into safely to load or unload customers contains. The less steps we take to get to the truck or container will sure help cut the time down.

We offer and have done all types of moves such as: RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL, LONG DISTANCE MOVING, LABOR ONLY SERVICES FOR LOADING CUSTOMERS TRUCKS OR PORTABLE CONTAINERS, IN-HOUSE MOVING, JUNK HAUL AWAY, FLAT RATE MOVES, PACKING SERVICES, PER PIECE MOVES, OVERSIZED PIECE MOVES.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Our favorite part of doing our job as a mover is the satisfaction of getting out there in society and helping all different types of people with their moving needs. We take a ton of satisfaction in helping our customers move their furniture and items they can’t move or don’t want to move. The other plus is that it’s a gym membership that you get paid to do which is a huge plus to us ????????

What training do you provide your crew members?

We put our guys through a very detailed orientation training process to help them fully understand the way E&J Moving likes to do things. We have a training course that goes into safety for themselves with how properly lift items and different ways to move furniture properly. We also have safety courses that go through measures we have in place to protect our customers dwelling and belongings. We also have our guys trained in how to efficiently, quickly and safely get through each move safe and efficient.
