My sisters received them at the delivery address, and informed me that Chris and James arrived on time, were very professional, were able to reassemble the sofa and desk, and were amusing, to boot! And my sisters are a tough crowd, so that’s saying a lot. I am so relieved it went so smoothly, and would absolutely 100 % refer them to anyone. Thanks!!

I hired ARay to help with unpacking a military DITY/PPM trailer on-post. After a reschedule and unexpected hassle at the Fort Leonard Wood gate when they couldn't access post, once they arrived at my residence they worked hard, even finishing a bit early on a hot 90+ degree day. The mediocre rating is for two reasons: 1) They were not prepared to come on-post, despite assurances from their manager that he knew Waynesville and houses on-post. Besides the access issues, the team didn't share his familiarity with on-post houses. 2) They also did not come prepared with anything besides their own strength (no dolly or tools), and by the end, they took less care to place boxes where we asked.
All in all, the team was polite and did what I needed, even on a hot day. They communicated pretty well before and after the job. But I would hesitate to hire them again. If you are considering them for a job on Fort Leonard Wood or any military installation, you must achieve clarity with them regarding base access. But considering the few options in the area, I can't entirely write them off for a job like this.

They were on time.
They worked hard but my furniture was damaged. The first Hire a Helper team did an awful job packing and the truck. I believe the first team did not value my belongings. The second team told me the first team didn’t know much about packing a truck.
I will never use Hire a Helper or Pods again! I feel like Hire a Helper hires anyone they can find and it doesn’t mean they know what they’re doing. You charge a lot of money for the poor job that was done!

Seemed like they did great until we got to our destination and over $1500 in furniture was damaged/broken! Also, they insisted on finishing the job when the three hours was up and I told them I didn’t want additional time. They called the owner when complete and he wanted me to pay for the extra 25 minutes! I hired 3 guys and 1 of them complained of his many physical ailments And when I told him he chose the wrong career field, he told me he was just “helping them out”. They didn’t use the furniture pads we provided and this turned out to be a big disappointment.
