Ok, honestly? We got off on the wrong foot a little bit. I was super stressed out about some last minute changes (not their fault; thanks a bunch U-Pack), they were 2 hours late, etc.
THAT SAID....
When these guys say they’re in it until the job is done, they 100% mean it. What was supposed to be a simple, single-location trailer load turned into an hours-long ordeal that ended in a thunderstorm as they were loading IN THE DARK. Still expertly and thoughtfully, mind you.
The guys that worked with me were great. I asked Carlton to load the shipping trailer as high and tight as possible so I could save as much space (& cash) as possible. He did it, no problem. He took amazing care of my stuff, did some genius-level Tetris. Shane and Darrell were the ones who came to my house and dealt with me when I was stressed and confused. They were extremely careful. They could have communicated with me a little better at times, though. Finally I have to brag on Jerry, their supervisor, who made a difficult situation manageable and was super understanding of my situation. All four of them saw the job through to the end, without complaint or slowing down. ALL of this went down late on a Saturday, well after reasonable working hours and when it was hot as heck outside. Just amazing commitment to the job and to my specific needs.
I feel confident about my household stuff making the trip safely halfway across the country. I definitely recommend them!
