I would recommend Portland Family Movers for your household move. They were running about 20 minutes late because they had to stop by their shop to pick up supplies so I was pleased to get a call to advise me.
The guys worked very hard to get the truck loaded and unloaded in a timely manner. Care was taken with every piece of furniture and help was offered gladly to keep me from lifting as I am physically limited.
I was especially impressed with their can do attitude. I have two very awkward and heavy couches that were extremely difficult to lift and maneuver through the tight doorways. They both had to be lifted from ground level up and over a deck railing and one had to be taken from one end of the house through a kitchen into a den. Most movers would have given up but these guys muscled through and placed them where they needed to be without any damage to the house or the couches.

Richard and Sean were the best movers I've ever had .They were efficient but very careful with antique furniture.Ibwould highly recommend this company.They arrived on time and were totally prepared for the job.

While I understand some of the issues the movers dealt with were not their doing (difficulty getting to my materials in the moving van creating a very late start) the final job was not of the best quality. My storage unit is a mess and needs to be completely re-organized before I can access things and before I move again. I would not hire Portland's Family Movers a second time.

They were ok young and pretty new and really slow we had the truck packed except heavy stuff (furniture) was only a mile drive to next place they basically unloaded to where they had started and left .4 hours and couldn't get it done I supplied 2 dollys one was for furniture, and they wouldn't use them carried everything by hand took way to long
