We use only our own professional movers and never hire day laborers or temporary help. We do not act as move brokers for another company, so we will not sell your job to another moving company. If you book your job with us, we will see it through to its completion. We never take on more work than we can handle. If we are already booked for the day that you requested, we offer you the nearest available day. We can provide you all needed equipment and packing materials.

My two movers were incredibly expedient, efficient, timely, friendly, fun, and made the move I was doing by myself so much easier at the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend. Extra fun if you speak Russian, but not at all required.

The move went well. They packed the breakable things very safely. And worked quickly.

They strategically list themselves so that they appear as the cheapest movers, but at the end they make up a lot of extra charges to inflate the price. Avoid.

Super slow movers. They took 2-3 items out of the truck and took them up with elevator instead of accumulating stuff at the elevator and do more efficient elevator trips.
They scratched and made a hole in my couch and didcn't wrap it properly so it got dirty on side.
They tried to overcharge me for double-drive fee and had to call support to get it fixed. They also tried to overcharge me an additional hours which they also gave up on eventually.
A bad experience all together.
I used HireAHelper once before and didn't have the same issues.

They were almost 2 hours late. They arrived and asked for payment up front - cash. My sister in law was there, I was not, and she called me. I spoke to the man, who spoke in broken English that payment is through Hire A Helper. He started to insist that he needed payment up front. I totally lost it and yelled at him that payment was through Hire A Helper. When we received the Pod container, it looked like they threw stuff in. Luckily nothing was broken. I would never use them again.

On time . Respecful of property . Worked VERY hard . Only downside was truck not big enough ; had to make 2 trips which added cosiderably to cost .

We needed to fit a lot in the moving truck that was going out of state. They put things together like a puzzle yet everything was safe.

The team was on time, however, their approach to the job and attitude was not great.
First, I booked for 3 people for 3 hours to help unload and throughout the process they kept complaining about having to bring boxes up to the third floor as if they were doing me a favor. It got to the point where I gave up and had them unload the rest in the garage. I can take care of things myself without all the whining.
Second, the crew took two smoking breaks in between during their paid time.
Finally, since I decided not to deal with the complaining the job was completed early and they still expected a tip, on top of that, didn't get refunded for unused time.
Would never recommend using them again.
