First of all there were supposed to be 3 guys, but only 2 showed up on time - the other was almost an hour late. I was moving from a 3rd story apartment so I made sure to give an extra large tip on top of the extra hour I paid for that they didn't need. I was very grateful for their help loading up the truck... Until I started unloading it. Numerous furniture was scratched including my leather couch - once on the side, which can be hidden, but also a 3 inch scratch on the armrest which is painfully obvious and ruins the overall look of the couch. In addition they scratched both bookshelves and my kitchen table. I made sure to pack all my dishes in what I thought was an excess of bubble wrap. I barely fit more than 6 cups in a box because I wrapped them so much. And yet they still managed to drop one of my dish boxes with such force that the bubble wrap did absolutely no good - all dishes were either broken or cracked.
In summary, I would not recommend the same guys to anyone else. Although, to be fair to the company, I had a friend moving the same day who used the same company and none of her furniture was damaged. Guess I got the B squad.

These guys were EARLY! I couldn't believe it. But not only that, they were extremely curteous and worked way harder than I would have imagined from a temp labor service. These guys rocked, and I would hire them again without question!

There were two gentlemen who came to do the work. I didn't get their names. They did a good job, they extended their service to include installing my brand new television out of the box, though they did not know much about implementing the new functions that came with the TV. I'm grateful they took it out of the box for me.
The older gentleman was a little too opinionated and intrusive for me. He made constant suggestions on where he thought to place a piece of furniture or what looks good. The younger gentleman was respectful and deferred only to my choices.
HireAHelper was a little too quick to charge my credit card. Very unreasonable people in the office. It's for this reason that I won't be using their services again.

We were very satisfied with Nick's people. They were on time and did a great job under the time alotted. They loaded a U-haul I was driving to LA. Care was taken to make sure all the load was secure and not damaged. All of our stuff arrived safely and intact. Great job by experience movers.

These two guys were very helpful. They worked for 5 hours and lifted many heavy items including a King bed, washer and dryer, refrigerator and piano. They did not damage any items and were very good at packing the U-haul. I would definitely recommend them and even use them for future moves.
