I had several last minute cancellations before these guys came through for me. 2 guys were on time and loaded (stuffed) a PODS unit and a small personal trailer with a wide variety of furniture, boxes, oddly shaped tools, exercise bike, etc. At all times they were polite and took care with our posessions, even while on the stairs. The owner joined us for the last hour and pitched in with his workers. I would unquestionably use them again.

We hired The Moving Company to load our furniture/belongings into our moving truck in Santa Cruz, CA. We were driving across country to Brooklyn, NY and only needed assistance with loading our belongings. Theo (the owner) sent Joe and Chris for the job. While Joe and Chris were very nice, it was clear to us that they weren't very experienced. They certainly weren't experienced with packing for a long haul move. Unfortunately, our stuff was not packed methodically. They simply just shoved all of our belongings (2 bedroom apartment) into the moving truck. Because they didn't put any thought into packing the items for riding well, our stuff shifted during the drive. Because of the wasted space and poor loading job, several of our items were ruined during the drive. When we unloaded in NY, we were saddened to find out that several of our items were ruined. Our brand new $200 chest freezer was scratched, dented and lost a leg. A $350 Crate and Barrel lamp was severely scratched. Since Joe and Chris didn't properly use our furniture pads (we rented them ourselves), many of our items were scratched. Our entertainment center, desk and headboards were also severely scratched as they were just tossed into the moving truck. By the end of the loading process, they were literally just shoving our belongings into the truck. Since there was so much wasted space in the front of the truck, it became very dangerous to open and close the back door of the Penske for fear of falling items. We would never recommend The Moving Company to help with a cross country move. They just don't have the experience and didn't take the time to discuss our needs extensively prior to accepting the job. Major disappointment.

It poured rain and they had no plastic to cover the stairs so the carpet got all muddy. they dropped my dresser 3 times before getting it to my bedroom. paid for 2 hours and they were only there 45 minutes. they went way to fast and were very careless.

I set up an appointment 24 hours before I needed to move and The Moving Company was able to accommodate my short notice.....even with a piano. The movers showed up on time to the minute, which was a definite good first impression. They had a positive attitude and were prepared with the adequate equipment. The job was done in a timely manner and it was the least stressful moving experience I have had yet.... all thanks to the Moving Company.

They are the most professional people that I have met in a long time....They went above and beyond any moving company has ever done....They treated my stuff as if it belonged to their mother or father....They work until the job is done...On time, courteous, answered all my questions, and checked in with me....I would recommend them to anyone....i will use them again....
