We will require a signature that we are not responsible for damages to televisions if they are not boxed. Our rates reflect our quality of service. As moving labor gets more competitive new labor providers drop their rates lower and lower to compete. Our experience and quality are second to none. I worked with a different crew in DC. They both worked together and efficiently- moved so fast. They were done in 2.75 hours (we worked with two different locations- one at storage unit and one at my previous residence). Communication was great! Now with this crew in Houston, not everything was completed within 2 hours and I didn't want to pay extra. Ryan was great and worked hard but the other guy was so exhausted and overheated. It made me wonder about Morris Moving's ability to take care of its employees- they didn't have water- we had to give them ours. Do they get breaks so they can be refreshed for the next move? Communication was a major issue. When they arrived, I explained where things should go (I gave them the tour)- what each room represented. But they moved stuff into the wrong rooms. I had to correct them and found some errors as I unpacked. The point of having movers is to make my life easier. My friend also had to help them out. He was exhausted from driving us across the country and had to help Ryan out because the second guy was too exhausted. I am very wary about working with Morris for my future moves.

Joshua and Trent were excellent. They took great care of all my furniture and items. They were polite and super helpful. Excellent job making use of the truck space. I would recommend them to all who need help moving.

I don't mind if the movers wanted to start 30 minutes before the scheduled morning time because it was hot in the summer.
However, I doubt if they prepared well because one mover left during the middle of the work to purchase water. I also provided bottled water for the two movers.
They were a bit dragging and kept on extending the time. Eventually, 90 min were added to the previously scheduled hours. When the movers felt like they could not finish on time, they asked us to help carry some light stuff. I was not sure if it was allowed, but in order to help them finish on time, we did what they told us to do.
In all, I would stay away from booking services with this company again.

We’ve moved a lot for my work. We have never had such a positive experience with movers as we had with Morris Moving & Storage. The gentlemen were on time, professional, and friendly. They worked extremely hard in the +100 degree heat and carefully moved our items exactly where we wanted them, assembling our furniture professionally. I have to thank Joshua, Devin, Theodore, and Barlas for their hard work and for the best experience we’ve ever had with a moving company. I highly recommend Morris Moving & Storage!
