The two young men that worked with Gary were phenomenal!! The worked non stop, were extremely helpful and went above and beyond the line of duty. I’m so grateful they’ll be helping again on Friday!!

Schedule window was 12-1pm. They called at 12:45 to say they were running late from a prior job and he would call with an update in an hour or so. I got a text from Hire a Helper saying my time was about up at around 4:30. I replied "help" so H.H. called and I told them they hadn't shown up or called again yet. He called them and said they would be here in an hour with 5 guys for no extra fee. They arrived at 5:45. Part of the work was putting together a headboard and an adjustable bed. It did take a while for the headboard because it just wouldn't stay together which wasn't their fault. Then for the bed the head guy was frustrated and didn't want to listen on how to put it together (it wasn't that difficult). Luckily my brother who took it apart was here and helped put it together. All the other guys were very nice. No, I would not hire these particular movers again.

Pam I am sorry that you were unhappy with our service. It was unfortunate that our first customer had some unforeseen issues that put us a little behind that day. I did however stay in contact with you and updated you as to our arrival which you were ok with at the time. I did offer and bring a total with myself 6 guys to your job so we could knock it out for you as fast as possible for the inconvenience of your wait with no extra charge. I believe you had ordered 2 guys for 4 hours. You were only charged for the two guys for two hours. As for your bed we have no problem assembling bed frames and even adjustable beds as was yours, but that is just basic assembly. Like putting the legs on, plugging in wires, metal bar that holds mattress at foot of bed, and putting your mattress down for you. We never completely tear down and disassemble the motor, arms, etc.. from an adjustable bed. That is something that usually only skilled professionals who you purchase the bed from do. You had everything in pieces in a box and just expected me to assemble everything when I wasn't the one who took it apart. 2nd your bed frame that you had was completely apart and had two mirrors that were part of it. You were missing screws that went to it and I suggested that you go and get some from home depot so it could be put together correctly and you brought me duct tape and told me to just tape it to which I went back and forth with you about it not being safe and I didn't want to be responsible if it fell apart later especially with mirrors. You then became upset with me and I then agreed just so we could finish your job and get to the next one we had. I also let one of my crew members leave with a family member of yours to go unload a dresser and bed which was no part of the job we were hired for. I don't see how you can feel that you were treated wrong in any way when all I tried to do was see that you were happy and satisfied for the extra wait you had that day. Again I am sorry that you seen things a different way.

We had torrential downpour and a broken elevator. They still managed to get the job done in the time allotted. Not a scratch on our furniture. Highly recommend!!

I had no idea that they would wrap the furniture and other large pieces to pack. It was great. I thought they would just pack it in. It now looks like a big Tetris with everything put into place like a puzzle. They moved around what I had in there already to balance the weight. Great job and kudos for braving the heat.

I provide cordless drills, and any other necessary standard tools for assembling/disassembling beds, etc.., (always included, no fee)

Plastic wrap:

Upon request I will supply a roll of shrink wrap as well as tape for necessary wrapping of furniture, etc.., ($30.00/ea.)

Rope:

I provide the use of ratchet straps and rope at no charge., ($10.00/ea.)
