We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. Our main goal is customer satisfaction, in addition we are non smokers so were not taking any unnecessary breaks, we get in there and get the job done as safely and as swiftly as possible. I had three movers that showed up on time, were very polite and respectful of my property. No issues at all with them and I would rehire. Most items involved carrying items to the basement so a flight of stairs was involved which was no issue for the crew.

I could not have been more pleased with the Ogre Man Movers. Dave (owner and operator) and his helper were very professional and courteous. It was very clear that Dave knew how to properly load a POD in this case, but it is the same principal as a moving truck. It was properly layered and tied down. The boxes were layered snuggly so there would be no movement. Fragile pieces were placed for maximum cushioning and minimal movement.
Dave and his helper arrived on time prepared to get started right away. They kept up a efficient pace despite the apartment being on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I had warned them that the couch would not fit through the door and would have to be lowered over the deck. Dave was prepared with the correct equipment to do this and it went off without a hitch.

Dave & Dave from Ogre Man Movers were AWESOME! They were super nice, very prepared, they communicated extremely well and they were very flexible with me! I was moving across the country and did not know when my truck full of belongings would be arriving and they even accommodated me by changing my move to a day earlier. What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
