These two guys that came to help me pack up were great. They came early. They were prepared for the job, worked hard and were respectful. They bubble wrapped my furniture and packed all of my apartment on to the truck in less than two hours. They also packed everything securely - which was important as I was taking the truck from Maryland to the mid west. I would use them again. I highly recommend this company.

We hired two workers for 6 hours to help us pack the day before the moving truck arrived. They were timely, well prepared, efficient and highly professional. I had used them a month or two ago to load a pod for me, and I would use them again without question or reservation.

Unfortunately had some disappointments with the movers: they did not use rope tie downs to secure the middle sections of the PODS, only the final section; they also moved a wooden chest and scraped it on brick walkway and placed on lawn before pad wrapping in the storage unit, also ended up using my personal hand truck to move boxes and material. It looked like one of the two movers was inexperienced. On the positive side they were on time and courteous.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
