I just got a new job and couldn't take time off to move so my parents came up to do it for me. I was really worried because my parents are Southern and elderly and I didn't want to movers to be rude or take advantage of them (make them do some of the moving). To my delight, however, the movers were amazing! My parents loved them and raved about how great they were. They stayed longer than I had them booked, didn't let my parents lift a thing, and were very polite. My mom made me promise to write a good review for them on here :)

Courteous, knowledgeable and careful. They arrived on the earlier side of the time window, had all the tools necessary and didn't take a break! Took extra care with everything. Would definitely use them again. Will be calling them for second half of move!

I used MD EXpert Movers twice in the last 2 months. The first time Dominique and crew were great. The second time I had Dominique and a different crew and it was going well until the end when Dominique told me they could not take my washer to the top floor and that I needed to call for a heavy item move and pay $275. I told him my washer is a standard washer and this can't be the first time they had to take one upstairs. He tried to say my washer was extra heavy and I know it isn't. One of the other workers wasn't feeling well he kept having to sit down and was sweating heavily and I constantly gave him water. It is my belief that because the worker was sick and couldn't do the job; that is why my washer was left in the basement instead of where it needed to be. I was not happy at all with the service and besides all that; I still had to pay someone to get my washer moved. For this reason; I will not use this company again.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
