I had 3 hours only to complete moving 15 pieces of large furniture. They got it done on time, without damage to the furniture and even packed the truck well that I didn't need to come back to get another load. They unloaded quickly and left with us and them with a smile. They were very easy to work with and did as I asked. This is the second time I used MD Expert Movers and if needed to do it again, I would hire again.

The guys did a fantastic job. The worked hard, loaded everything, did not even touch one wall getting everything out of the house. Even through I grossly underestimated the time needed they stayed to get the job done. I would highly recommend them.

Very nice guys showed up on time to work on an extremely hot day. Perhaps the heat sapped their energy because they were quite slow and only accomplished a fraction of what other moving labor helpers had recently accomplished in the same amount of time. Upon completion of the contracted 2 hours I chose to thank the workers and let them go. Later in the day the majority of the work was finished quickly by friends.

I got what I paid for! (In the best way!) I had an excellent experience -- the movers were on time, quick, efficient, wrapped my couches to prevent damage, and worked well with my truck driver. I was impressed with their integrity -- as they were on their way out the door, my driver was remarking on some small damage on the second hand pieces from the previous owners that I hadn't noticed until it was time for us to load up. The movers, upon hearing the word "damage" came back into the house to make sure there hadn't been a problem during transport. (There wasn't -- the fault wasn't theirs. But I respected their desire to review and address a possible situation.)

The guys showed up ready to work, and were consummate professionals. They met the challenges of a 5-story walk-up without complaint, and took care not to damage both our personal property and the property to where we moved. I would most certainly hire them again.

The 2 guys who showed up to load our 1st PODS container on May 17th were EXCELLENT & received a 5 star rating. However, the guys who showed up on the 21st are only receiving 2 stars. While they were on time to start the job they seemed as if they were in a hugh rush the whole time and it was difficult to get the lead guy to actually listen to what we were saying. They made sure to tell us their names again before they left, nope I do not remember their names, and requested we give them a 5 star rating, this is probably why I promptly forgot their names. Once the PODS container was delivered for unloading we found many tubs & boxes that were crushed - not from shipping but from having much heavier stuff placed on top of them - there were boxes clearly markes "books" placed on boxes & tubs that were boldly marked "fragile". Some tubs were crushed & split open on the bottoms from being placed 1/2 on 1/2 off of furniture items and then multiple items stacked on top.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
