Tri-County Movers communicated with me a couple of times before the actual scheduled work day to discuss what needed to be moved. This allowed them to handle a very heavy item that needed special care.
If you run across any situation that had not been addressed or about which they were uncertain, they were very diligent and asked me what I wanted to have done.
I absolutely would hire them again should the need arise!

Steve and Ryan showed up on time. They assessed the items to be packed in a 16-foot PODS. I asked Steve if all the items we wanted packed could fit in the PODS. He honestly replied, "we'll see". I, myself, was doubtful because I thought we need another 16-foot PODS which I already reserved. He said they'll need blankets and I had plenty of those specifically for this purpose.
As they progressed with loading, I was amazed at how much they have loaded in a very small space and as they continued loading, I kept saying I am amazed at how they were strategically placing items to ensure they are secure. I took pictures as things were loaded so I have an idea where things were.
All the items we wanted included were loaded - no scratches on the floor or walls, nothing broken. There was plenty of space for me to load small items here and there.
I sent the pictures to my sister who is the recipient of the load and she commented that they probably had space management training and she probably was right.
Anyway, we are very happy with the work Steve and Ryan did for us and would definitely recommend them.

The guys did a great job - very personable, excellent packers and hard workers. They showed up on time (they called ahead of time and said when they'd be there) and they were very respectful of our property. Can't get much better than this for movers - we had them pack up a POD and I'll be using them again when we go to unpack it!

These guys worked extremely hard and did a great job of packing our two pods. They were almost 8 hours late due to car trouble. If you're in business then you need to ensure that you get to the work.

They were a bit late but called to advise. It didn’t impact our plans. They worked really hard taking one 5 min break. They were nice guys and I hope to have them both for the next container. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Hire a Helper either.

Very nice and thourough. Didn’t take longer than planned and made sure we were kept abreast of all the work. If questions were raised they were handled like true professionals!!

Tri-County was scheduled to arrive between 8am-9am. They arrived shortly after 10am, without a dolly or any other moving equipment. We had a dolly which they ended up using. We had moving blankets, shrink wrap, and tape that they also were able to use. We had two 8x8x16 PODS to load and they worked hard to do that, until two of them realized it was 7-11-18 and they could "take a break" and go get a free Slurpee. They returned about 40 minutes later. One of the reasons we selected this company was that the owner, Steve, said he would gladly haul away leftover furniture to donate to sober living facilities. They carried out a couch and loveseat (which got ripped) for donation. We also had a desk and some other items to donate but Steve said his trailer was elsewhere and he would come get them the next day. We never saw nor heard from him again. During our transactions, Steve told me several times he would call me but that did not happen. He initially offered a better price if we did not want the extra insurance but we declined. Essentially, after the initial agreement, Steve was very difficult to contact and was not reliable via phone or with fulfilling promises. I don't know if this is par for the industry but I would not recommend using Tri-County.
