Got the truck unloaded in the time I set up. Had a couple tricky areas for couches and there were able to take apart and make it up the stairs. Worked hard and were polite.
It's always good hearing that not only were the movers competent but were polite as well.

They were excellent from the very beginning all the way through to the move to the final exchange. I was called shortly after I completed the request on Hire A Helper and they made me feel very comfortable and confident I had made a good choice. They also called to confirm and go over details on the day before the move. I was scheduled for an afternoon move and they kept me informed about their arrival time. Overall, the communication was very good. When they arrived, we went through the house identifying those things that needed to be moved, my priorities, and pieces that needed extra care. They went right to work and worked quickly and effectively the whole time they were with me. They took very good care of all of my belongings, padding and wrapping them, loading them carefully and efficiently. I couldn't believe how much they could pack into truck and then fitting it into my storage unit was a feat. There was a problem with my storage space and we had to use a smaller one, but they made it work. Even though it took longer than I had estimated, the guys never made me feel like they were put out or tired, even though I know it was a long day for them and my job had a few extra twists. They worked diligently the whole time and they were always very polite. Even when we were finished and driving away, they stopped to come back and help me by directing me as a drove the rental truck through a tight spot. I will use them again and I highly recommend them.

Our main focus is taking away as much stress from a move as possible, this is especially important when difficulties are experienced, my crews are extremely flexible and will do almost anything it takes to ensure a successful and stress free move.

Jim, Brad and Chance were amazing. They were professional, polite and phenomenal in taking care of our furniture. They took their time, were careful in making sure everything was protected. Brad is an artist in the way he loaded the POD so as nothing would shift or get broken during the move. I would recommend them to everyone in the area they work. I was very impressed with this company.
The young men who moved my belongings were very gentle, courteous and efficient. The gentleman who arranged my furniture and boxes in the pod container was very meticulous. They worked very well as a Team and the time it took was very reasonable. I expected to go over my allotted time due to the quantity of my belongings. The overage was minimal and I contribute that to the way they work so well and communicate together.
The owner of the company was present and very professional. The customer service was outstanding and the value was spot on.
I hope to have them return to unpack my pod.

All customers will receive prompt and courteous service. Our goal is to ensure your moving experience is as quick and as painless as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will have professionally attired movers that are clean and courteous with a professional attitude, with the goal of finishing your move quickly and safely.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In order to increase the likelihood of an efficient, quick move: Label or organize boxes and tape them closed. Have bags for mattresses, especially if traveling a significant distance. If possible, have large pieces of furniture emptied with a clear path to the exit. Ensure you have moving pads (or substitutes) if we will only be present for the load. Know what's going beforehand so that we can give an accurate estimate and be properly prepared.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have managed moves from single rooms to homes over 5000 square feet. We have focused mainly on local moves but we do have experience in cross country moves in the past.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Being able to help lower the level of stress inherent to moving from a residence, regardless of size or reason. With 23 years of military service we have had to endure the stress of moving on many occasions and know from personal experience that a good moving crew greatly reduces that stress. We've all had bad experiences with movers and we strive to ensure we are not going to be one of those for our customers.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our associates in proper use of dollies. Preparing furniture to be loaded,e.g. use of pads, disassembly of certain items, etc.. Disconnecting and preparing appliances for movement. Proper lifting techniques and use of buddy lifts and equipment when necessary. Most importantly is the proper loading of household goods to maximize every inch available in the vehicle you've rented.
