I was serviced by Isaiah Harvin and his partner. They were wonderfully fast and very kind. Isaiah even sold me 7 of his heavy moving blankets for a very affordable price. I was very satisfied with their work until I opened my Pod (the pod they packed.) I noticed that all of the bins I marked as "FRAGILE" in extremely large letters were absolutely destroyed. I am very familiar with moving so I took the extra time to label every bin and I created separate piles for the movers based on weight/fragility/size (all of which was communicated to the movers upon their arrival.) Even after explaining to the movers which bins were fragile, it seems as though they did the exact opposite of what I asked. Every single bin I marked as fragile had a heavier bin stacked on top of it and our Pod had plenty of room to spare. I did look over the Pod before the movers left and everything looked good to me. We had about 2 dozen moving bins and they were all stacked along the back wall of the Pod behind our couch and mattress so I was unable to lay eyes on them before the movers left; a lesson I will now take into consideration when moving. Although I didn't feel the need to watch Isaiah and his partner move all of our stuff into the Pod, I realize that it was a mistake to not climb into the Pod to check how each bin was stacked. After receiving my Pod, I realize that I should have done a better job inspecting afterwards because there was also a random satellite dish in our Pod (it was not ours and definitely not in our house.) Isaiah and his partner were very very kind and I am never one to complain, but it is very frustrating spending so much time diligently wrapping all of our prized possessions/credentials and making it "Pod-proof" all for them to end up broken, not due to the disregard of the Pod movers but, because of poor packing/stacking from the beginning. Again, Isaiah and his partner were both wonderful. They showed up on time and they were quick, so I truly hope that the day they helped me was an off-day because I can't imagine that this happens often with them.

On time, courteous, hustled the inter time. Even swept out the Pod and bagged the shipping paper. I would highly recommend them.

These guys were awesome, had a great time with the whole crew, they were involved in a wreck on the way to help us , one of their guys was injured and was tacky to the hospital, they stayed in touch with us through all of it , meanwhile, they had sent out 2 other crew members to get things started , great guys , hard workers, and when the original crew showed up they all worked together to get our furniture and boxes loaded in a very orderly fashion. Had a great experience with these guys , loved talking to them and we are sending prayers to their coworker. Would recommend these guys , they were a pleasure to have , and they were very professional ??????????

The three gents today did a great job with our loading and handled our stuff with care! They were timely and worked hard to make sure they got it loaded in the time we had allotted! Nice guys to boot!

I landed in Winston-Salem with a full 15' U-Haul truck Friday night and needed help unloading on Saturday! I contacted Hire A Helper and requested A-List movers to help me unload. Isaiah and his crew accepted and came out to unload my truck into our Extra Space Storage unit. It was a hot and humid. Isaiah's crew quickly jumped in and got the job done! I cannot thank Isaiah enough for making this happen on such short notice.
I would also like to thank Hire A Helper for providing a way for folks like me to access help. I could not have done this without them.

These guys kept me updated every step of the way while they were on the way. They had to travel some time to get to me but did so without a complaint. My husband and I were very much in need of a crew to help us at the very last minute as well as move large and heavy items to the third floor of a building. These guys swept right in, told us to sit back and relax, and completed the job quickly. And didn’t even scratch a wall. Very sweet young men and I would definitely use them again.
