This is the second time I used the company I found off hire-a-helper and again they did a phenomenal job. I hwoukd highly recommend them to others and I applaud their work ethic and politeness throughout the whole job. Really glad I got these guys for my move.

Hire a helper.com set me up with Kevin and billy for a 6 hr job. I estimated the time based on needing their help to move the big furniture only. After they were assigned to me, Kevin called me quickly to talk about my shipment, which I appreciated since I had rented a 16’ truck with high aspirations to get everything in. He recommended a 26’, which I did change, and it made all the difference. Kevin, billy and an extra hire (aka Tetris man) loaded/unloaded all of my heavy and large pieces but also loaded up and unloaded about 80% of the rest of my house with boxes and other gear. And they did it all in 6 hours including an hour transit time. They were early on site with more gear than I had thought to rent, and was professional throughout the job. Ultimately though, they made my move so much easier than I had anticipated. I would definitely use them again for small or large moves. Thank you Kevin and billy!

Awesome!!! We were 7 hours late because the truck rental had a bad tire, and Penske took forever to repair it. But this company took it in stride and were there as soon as we arrived home, ready to unload. And they were FAST!!! GREAT COMPANY

These guys were amazing. They were on time and were so helpful. I needed help getting an elliptical upstairs, they went above and beyond and set it up for me, moved it to a few different locations in the room and then took all the boxes and wrappers out to their truck to dispose of it! Definitely recommend this company.

They arrived on time, were friendly, courteous, respectful of my possessions, and very understanding of the stress involved in moving. They worked quickly and efficiently and I simply couldn't have asked for a better team for my move.

GET A MOVE ON did a fabulous job. We have moved three times in the last year, and they have been by far the best movers we have encountered. They were on time and worked non-stop. They finished in an hour and a half even though they had to carry heavy furniture up two flights of stairs. Actually, another moving company came to move a neighbor in who lives on the first floor a half hour before GET A MOVE ON arrived and GET A MOVE ON finished before the other movers despite climbing up stairs! They even helped to put our beds and dining room table together without being asked. They cleaned the bed of our PENSKE truck and folded the furniture blankets without being asked! They even took our plastic and garbage to the dumpster for us! If you are looking for a company that takes pride in their work, has integrity, and are respectful of you and your property then this is the moving company to hire. I would definitely use them again and will recommend them to others because they go above and beyond the average movers. We are still in shock in how they were able to carry our heavy furniture up the stairs without taking a break or complaining!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
I will call to discuss your moving needs.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call in the morning and an experienced crew to pack/load/unload your belongings.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Since we are paid by the hour anything to make the job go quicker; break down beds, take shelves out of China Hutch, legs off tables, shades/ light bulbs from lamps etc. We have no problem doing all these things though.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have moved clients all over the country, done many office jobs, transported entire household or just a few things.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Meeting new people and seeing the stress leave customers faces after they realize we know what we are doing!
What training do you provide your crew members?
We take new crew members on jobs @ no extra cost and train them to be the best. We also have them watch multiple moving videos on YouTube.
