Had problem receiving Certificate of Insurance!
Had to pay an additional $300.00 for their ins. co. to furnish correct Certificate of Insurance for our landlords and prop. mgr. This is not business as usual in downtown DC. Had no time to look for another co.; had to move on time. It was akin to blackmail. Would not recommend for this reason.
The mgr. of the co. worked hard to provide the ins. certificate we needed, but she needs to find new ins. carrier if they want to do business in DC.
Otherwise, the move itself was perfect. The crew was professional, courteous, efficient and fast.
Everything went smoothly.
HireAHelper needs to screen better; find out what ins. needs are required and know which of their companies can handle it without highway robbery.
Have never heard of an ins. co. charging for a Certificate of Ins. Mine doesn't. It was a nerve-wracking day, waiting for COI to be faxed. It arrived 5 min. ahead of the movers. I'm still so stunned about how something so simple could go so horribly awry, I'm at a loss for words.

FANTASTIC....arrived on time, did everything I requested without question.... I would definitely recommend them for any job that you have. I will use them again for my my next move. Very personable workers that came to WORK. A rain storm prevented the move and my move was promptly rescheduled for next morning, very flexible scheduling and Iryna is Awesome.

The two guys showed up when they said they would and got right to it, moving awkward furniture and heavy boxes up and down some annoying stairs!

I hired them to move my stuff (already in boxes) into storage since I am deploying. They were 10 mins late but that's okay. They started the clock once they arrived. The two workers were very professional and moved quickly. They also ensured my big furniture would not get scratched by covering it up with blankets and taping the blanket down. It took them roughly 3 hours. I would definitely use them again once I get back.

Max was very helpful and showed care for moving our furniture. You could tell he wanted me to feel relaxed with the move - not just haul our stuff as quickly as possible.
They did a great job padding all our furniture - no damage.

These guys were fabulous! They were on time and extremely professional. They worked very hard and very quickly. They took care to wrapp all of our wood furniture and handled the four flights of steps like champs. I would definitely use them again!
