Can’t say enough good things about MD Expert Movers. Sarah was always accessible by phone, took the time to coordinate and confirm the details of my move, and was a true professional when I needed to adjust my movers’ arrival time on move day - twice! Dominique and his crew had everything they needed for the job, and went above and beyond to assist me: worked extremely hard for three hours in very hot weather, handled my items with care and without any damage to my apartment, thoughtfully loaded my belongings onto my truck and arranged them to ensure that they all arrived in one piece, and showed initiative by packing all of my clothing and the various items in my entryway closet when I clearly needed help crossing the finish line. I have a problematic recliner couch, but they quickly figured out how to dismantle it so it would fit through the door! Overall, they did an excellent job of packing my PODS container, disassembling furniture, and moving quickly throughout to get the job done. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
