I hired these movers after talking to Mark and was happy that he was very responsive to my calls. However in the day of the move he and his two man crew started the packing but shortly after arriving Mark informed me he has to go drop off his car for service that it was not far. He left and returned about an hour or so later. His two workers worked very hard. I want that very clear. Again in the afternoon Mark is gone. I asked the crew what happened to Mark? "Oh he had to go home and get tools, but he doesn't live far from here". Two hours later he arrived. Now with Mark in the truck and they just put my husband's Thomasville large dresser in the truck. Marc was wrapping the dresser up in my moving blankets and asked him "why are the drawers to his dresser on top and not back in the dresser?" Mark said "Oh yes we can put them in there.". Not once but twice I saw this happen and with the third dresser assisted in placing the drawers back in that dresser. Also he wanted to place a very expensive couch on its end without protecting the material. I again asked him to correct that situation. Now it is about 4:30pm and they were trying to get the job done and trying to balance two wing chairs, a cough and finally tried to place a recliner on top of everything. Again my husband and I had to stop them and remind them they had to leave room for the bunk board and ramp that U-PACK supplied. Mark told me he had to go to another job at 5:00pm. They had to stop. Marc steps aside and before I know it he hands me his phone with Hire a Helper operator on the other end who is telling me he has to go to another job. Needless to say I told them how unhappy I was with Mark. And told them he left the job twice and that I hired him to be on the job supervising the truck. I told him and his crew to go. Hire a Helper told me to leave a review. My husband, myself and son had to unload the last three feet of the truck to allow for the bunk board and ramp to be loaded back on board. And we had to reload another trailer the next day. So this is what Hire a Helper told me to do leave my review. Buyer beware.

You ordered a 2 man service and my two helpers were with you the whole day. I had some errands to run but was there most the day with you and my guys. You kept getting on the truck interrupting our work and questioning our whole process. I understand you might be hands on and these are your belongings so you have total say on how you want things done but if you get in our way the job goes that much longer. The guys showed up on time. The job was only moving a piece of furniture up two flights of stairs but they offer to help me with anything else. They were courteous and everything went well. I would hire them again. The only thing that was a drawback was that I needed them for like 10 minutes but I had to pay for two hours. I wish and suggest they have a less than one hour rate for the future.

To start they were on time which was a major plus. We had initially hired another company but as we approached our closing date we didnt hear back from them ao we hired this company last minute and they showed up. They helped unload 4 10x10 storage lockers and worked real hard for many hours. I wouldnt have been able to do the job without them they were on time polite and extremly professional. Absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for help moving your belongings.
