Your guys were fantastic - friendly, courteous, very careful about fragile items, knowledgeable (about how to get a very large couch into a very small elevator) and quick. Not one thing was damaged and they finished the job in no time.

Our helpers arrived late, but did call ahead to tell us that they were running late at their other job. Once they arrived, they were great and unloaded our moving truck quickly but carefully. They were very courteous and a pleasure to work with.

Sorry , this review took longet than expected, however I can not praise enough the two men who moved us. They were on Time, courtious, worked diligently and were very considerate of our family and our posessions. They knew how to pack a Truck!!

Bryan was great! My schedule changed last minute and he was able to accomodate that. He also arrived early. He was kind and efficient and made the move painless and easy!

I called the day before to confirm the 10 am start time as had been arranged a week or so earlier. No return call was received. The workers showed more than 30 minutes late and I had to spend a good part of my morning navigating them as all they had were Mapquest direction... no GPS and no map book. Slow. I had already unloaded many items and continued to help them. After doing a good portion of the work myself, were done in a little less than 3 hours. I paid for 4 hours in advance. The workers called their supervisor to report that the job was finished and thye supervisor wanted to charge me an extra hour. Then some kind of hostile conversation occurred between one of the workers and the supervisor. After showing the receipt to the workers the supervisor accepted the receipt as payment in full and the workers left. I had great service loading my truck with two guys from AM Movers in northern VA/ DC area. Sevicequest was a disappointment and I will use a different firm for my next move in a couple weeks.

Better Business Bureau Rating = F, do your research before using them
They claim to have reimbursed for damages, but have not. If their claim to have taken care of the customer were valid you would think that they would address better business bureau complaints to clear their name rather than not responding.
If you are using Hire A Helper my recommendation is DO NOT turn over the payment code to the vendor if there are damages because you will never hear from them again

The gentlemen that helped us move were excellent. The way they worked so hard and they were very such gentlemen was refreshing. I have moved many times and they were by far better than any we have hired before. If they ever need references we are available.
