The two men arrived on time,were cordial and capable and we felt like we were in good hands. They were careful and followed our directions and did an awesome job of wrapping and moving all of our furniture to our rented pod. I would highly recommend them!

Very courteous and professional. Came on time, called before they came to confirm time and loaded the moving truck fast and efficient. I would highly recommend them, it's nice to have helped like this. I could never do this by myself.

I had made a reservation with Q's Moving Corporation based on a recommendation from Hire a Helper and a requirement that I needed for them to provide a Certificate of Insurance to my building, for which I was charged $50. I had confirmed the day prior with the management team that the helpers would be start their day at 7am, as they have the site availability starting at 8am. At 730am I received a call from the movers that they would be arriving at 915, after I had staged my truck and was parked to complete my move. At 830, I began completing moving activities myself - completing nearly 60% of move required. When the guys finally arrived, the first thing they said to me was "you know there is a 40$ parking charge additionally for Manhattan", not "nice to see you, sorry we are late, let's get this done". I was incensed. I had booked the minimum of 2 helpers for 2 hours at nearly $300. We completed activities in under 45 minutes, but had no recourse for the additional fees. The two individuals I had did hustle once they arrived, but I was very disappointed in the service overall and feel it was a very poor value for the price.

We start between 9-10 a.m. to prevent being late or the possibility of a last minute emergency. If a customer needs a crew to arrive earlier than 9 a.m. we try our best to accommodate the request. items ripped broken chipped which I have not been reimbursed, that said they showed up when another place canceled at last moment on us si kudos.

The logistics of the move was a little tough as the POD I was using was delivered to a parking lot that was a bit of a walk, however boxes that I had labeled as fragile or Liquid-keep up right, were not handled as requested and packed sideways or upside down. They also did not use the blankets I provided on many of the furniture pieces and they arrived extremely scratched and some with deep gouges as well as loose parts/legs. Of the two, it was obvious one was much more experienced and gave more thought and care into moving the items. They were both very pleasant at least.

I would not recommend Q's. At the beginning of the move they dropped a clearly marked, fragile item that broke. This resulted in tension with the crew and a lack of productivity for the rest of the move. They were unable to move a long but relatively light couch, claiming that it could not fit in the stairwell. We later had to pay someone else who was able to easily move this item. Finally, when given the opportunity by Hire a Helper to send someone back to move the couch, they refused. Hire a Helper was extremely helpful throughout the entire process.

Hector and Ray arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time (which in NYC is often unexpected!). They were both friendly, respectful and well prepared for the job. We lived in a 4th floor walk up, which was no fun for us to walk up, let alone for anyone to have to move heavy items and bulky boxes down the stairs! Hector and Ray were hardworking, and they treated our furniture/items as if they were their own. They loaded the uhaul skillfully- nothing shifted in the truck for the 10 hour drive to Ohio. I highly recommend Q's Moving Company and would like to say thanks again to Hector and Ray!
