Errol and his teammates did a terrific job of moving from a third floor walk up to a Uhaul truck. It was a very smooth and great experience. It took several more hours then what was initially scheduled, but Errol was great and very good about letting me know if it up to me to say when the team should leave. The team stayed and finished the job, which took 5 hours instead of 3 hours. I did not have to do any lifting and it was an enjoyable process. The team was on time and prepared for the job as well as worked hard.

The guys came on time and were extremely efficient in packing furniture up and fitting everything in the truck. Once we got to our destination, there was two sets of extremely high stairs which made bringing all those boxes up difficult. Not only did they do a great job but they had such a great attitude and were extremely friendly. Truly a bunch of nice guys.

The guys were early, which was fine with me. They had the tools they needed and worked hard getting all the heavy furniture up my extremely steep driveway.
They were pleasant and took extra care to make sure the bed was put together correctly.

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE moving company who damaged almost all furniture I have. They even broke pieces off of night stands when the leader dropped it - he tripped and flung the piece in the air. I HAVE PICTURES of how they loaded the truck that I took AT THE SITE ON THAT DAY just after they loaded. I also have pictures at the unloading. Multiple boxes were squashed as they loaded heavier things on top, WOOD FURNITURE ON WOOD, BROKEN PIECES OF FURNITURE FOUND ON THE TRUCK. Yes, I have pictures of all of it. They had more that fifty blankets leftover after the move that they didn't use and instead they positioned my furniture wood on wood. I contacted the owner - John Kiousenterlis, and told him how disappointed I was and how all my furniture is damaged or busted and he was INCREDIBLY RUDE and started yelling at me on how his workers and company were the best and he called me some really awful names. Not respectful whatsoever. One of the workers that day went into our bathroom with a pair of scissors and matches. He was in there way too long and my husband knocked on the door to see if he was ok. He ran the water faucet in the sink over ten min. When he came out, there were about twenty burnt matches thrown on my bathroom floor between the wall and vanity. What in the world was that? I told the owner about it and he said the man went #2. I asked why he didn't just open the window and what was with the scissors? They didn't pack the truck very well either and we paid by the foot. They wasted so much space with their HORRIBLE packing. I have pictures of ALL that shows how things were shoddily thrown in the truck. When I contacted the owner, he sent it to his insurance who offered me $120 for all of my damaged antiques as well as broken marble. John Kiousenterlis offered to pay me an additional $120 which doesn't even cover the damage for one broken table never mind replacement marble. I am so disappointed with this move!! I will also review that move on the web at various sites.
I will NEVER, EVER use them again and hesitate on recommending Hire-a-Helper because this horrible review, according to yelp.com, is not the first bad review Q's Moving has received. What I'm saying was others experience so if Hire-a-Helper keeps such companies as Q's Moving as their representatives, I would NEVER use you again and will tell all my friends and colleagues about what a horrible and unprofessional move that was. I'll also show them pictures of what NOT to do and how NOT to pack.
