My review is not for Q's, but rather for the gentlemen who came to work…you decide if that is on Q's. They were clearly looking to stretch the time allotted beyond the 2 hours contracted for so they could get more money. They were there from 8 - 10…each took a lengthy bowel movement in my apartment, went to the store to get drinks, complained that their stomach hurt, and took their time in general. Keep in mind that all I asked them to do is get stuff downstairs and I, repeat I, would load the truck. Several times I found myself waiting 5 - 10 minutes to receive stuff to load. And this from a 1 bedroom apartment on the third floor with a minimal walk to the front door. The only reason it got done in the allotted time is because I did the majority of the work. Completely unimpressed.

I hired two guys from Q's Moving Corp to help load my jam-packed studio apartment for a move to the midwest. They were scheduled to arrive between 8:00 & 9:00 a.m. & arrived at 8:45. They began working fairly hard, but seemed a bit confused, as they were hired for 4 hours & asked me about an hour & 15 minutes in if I wanted them for overtime when we hit the 2 hour mark. That took some time to resolve. It then turned out that I only needed them for 3 hours & was told by one of them that I could call in early & let them know we finished & not have to pay the full 4 hours, which was not correct. Overall they did a so so job - they could have taken more care with some of the furniture, which was damaged & one of them inexplicably would not use the ramp on the truck. I think they're reliable enough assistance if you also have your own family or friends helping, have a clear strategy for your move, someone to watch the truck & just have these guys do the heavy lifting.

The guys were a bit late and had trouble finding parking in the neighbourhood, which I couldn't help them with. They did a good job, were quick and conscientious. I'd use them again.

Q's did a great job with our move. We contacted Q's to load our rented truck. I called a few times to ensure that the Certificate of Insurance was sent to our building, and the customer service was excellent (nice people on the phone!). J.R. and his assistant greeted us on time and explained pricing and the additional services they could provide. They were very careful with all of our stuff and made sure to pack our truck snugly. When we arrived at our location about 300 miles away, there was no damage to our possessions. I highly recommend Q's for anyone looking for trustworthy helpers.

The guys were great. The effort and actually their good humor and enjoyment of their job helped make my move low in stress and without incident. Which is pretty much what one could ask of a move. It's still not going to be a day at the beach.
