We offer residential and commercial moving services and have a variety of packing materials available for purchase. We are a licensed and insured company and are available to provide Certificates of Insurance upon request ($100 processing fee). Please be advised, all city jobs without reserved parking will be charged a $50.00 parking fee. There will also be a Toll Fee due payable to the moving company for any tolls charged for the requested service.

Q's Moving was very professional and courteous. I had a couple of heavy pieces to move and they handled it superbly without scratching the furniture or the walls.
They showed up on time and called ahead just to confirm as they said they would. Great job; I will use them again on my next move.

Earl and Lee were absolutely terrific. They arrived 30 minutes early, both had such positive attitudes and worked hard all day. Everything ended up without a scratch and Lee even gave me some interior decorating advice :) Also, I originally booked them for 5 hours and they stayed along an extra 2 to get the job done. I definitely recommend Q's moving company!

Used Q's Moving Corp to get some heavy furniture to the garage - 4 story condo. They arrived on time and were genuinely polite. (how refreshing!) They moved all the furniture carefully and helped me get some rugs in place. It really was a pleasure - they were eager to do whatever needed to be done, no attitudes, just nice people, working hard. I would absolutely use them again.

The movers were not on time…they were EARLY! They were fully prepared. The head mover called the night before to recommend an extra mover when he read the job details. We couldn't have done it without a third man! They worked incredibly hard to complete the job on time and were extremely polite. I would highly recommend them to others!

Max and Michael were exactly on time. They had everything they needed. They worked fast and efficiently, and didn't take many breaks. I had greatly underestimated the time it would take, but they stayed until everything was done, and never once acted like they had somewhere better to be. They treated all my stuff as though it were fragile--even the books. They double-checked with me when they had questions about my preferences, and they gave me excellent advice. I would absolutely hire them again, and I'm recommending them to everybody I know.

I used Q's to help me move out of my 690 sqft apartment. I had contracted for 2 movers, 2 hours.
Overall: the movers did an acceptable job. Nothing was damaged during the move out, or during the ensuing 13 hour drive to my new home (so everything was packed well). However, there were some areas of the service that prevent me from giving them a better rating.
As mentioned above, I hired Q's for 2 movers for 2 hours. They showed up with 3 movers. This meant that unless they were to finish in 1 hour (impossible), I would be paying more than I was originally quoted. Day-of surprises like this are not welcomed.
The 3 movers, while very nice, courteous and professional, were extremely slow moving with little hustle or sense of urgency. Compared to other movers I've had in the past, these guys were just plain slow. No other way to say it. The job ended up taking 3 hours (with an extra guy).
So with the extra person and the extra hour, I paid almost double of what I was originally quoted.
I'm glad that the move-out ultimately was successful and that nothing was damaged. However, based on my experience described above, there was substantial room for improvement.

I hired Q's to help move my things out of my apartment and into my Uhaul. While they were on time (just barely), they left about 20 minutes early which was a little annoying. I didn't make a big deal about it because everything that was left was small enough for me to move myself and I knew they had another job to get to. Still, I was a little annoyed. They did work very hard and pretty quickly while they were there, which was a plus. They brought their own furniture caddy, which was very helpful. My Uhaul was just barely big enough for my things and I appreciate their ability to fit everything in, even though several pieces of furniture were broken or damaged in the process. One interesting point is that they didn't use any of the furniture pads that I rented with the Uhaul. When they arrived I asked if they wanted the pads up in the apartment or in the truck for loading and the response was, "What do we need furniture pads for?". I've never had movers that didn't make use of the furniture pads, which is I guess why several pieces are damaged or broken. Overall I wasn't disappointed or impressed by my experience with Q's. I would consider using them again, but I would consider other companies as well.
