The two movers were great. They worked hard and were careful.
My one concern was that Hire A Help gives a time frame for the job start. I chose the 7am to 8am time frame. the job was accepted and confirmed. On the day before the move I got a phone call tell me that they don't "open" until 9 and their office is in Queens NY. 45 minutes away. At that point I didn't want to take a chance and cancel to get another mover. They showed up at 9:45 and got right to work but I wasn't happy that I wasn't told up front about when they "open".
I would still use them again because they did a good job , unless I need an early start.

Matthew and Earl were great. They arrived ahead of time and got right to work after we went over the job with them. They were very careful with our furniture and had the equipment they needed to move everything. They worked very hard for us. My wife and I are extremely grateful for the job that they did. This was the second time we used Q's moving and we would definitely use Q's Moving again.

I will never recommend Q's moving to anyone. I hired 2 helpers for 3 hours and had to add an additional 1.5 hours to the job as the movers (Neil + I forgot the other persons name) were very slow and slow paced. They used to take frequent breaks and would spend their time smoking outside the apartment when I was busy dismantling and moving stuffs from my apartment to the service elevator (I was doing this to ensure I could get my job done ASAP). Occasionally I had to run down to find them and ask them to come up and start doing things. The helpers were only keen in wanting me to call hireahelper to add more time. In the end I was the only person after paying these guys a good amount of money doing the real job.
Both the helpers were Lazy and when they realized that I had joined them to help speed up the shifting process they would wail away time simply by using the plastic sheet to wrap the furnitures again and again though according to me it was not really required at all.
My advice to future customers would be to stay away from Q's moving corp. Neil and his buddy definitely do know the tricks to add more time and to slow down the pace of shifting. They definitely know to sneak out when not watched and monitored. What they do NOT know is how to be efficient and finish the job in time. I say this from experience as I had done a similar shifting earlier and those guys did the job for me in less that 3 hours.

We made an absolutely last minute request on a Saturday for help in picking up a large furniture piece the day of. Everyone at Q's that we dealt with from office personnel to the actual "movers" were extremely professional and efficient. Hard working, on time and very respectful- Couldn't recommend any higher. Would use again without hesitation; money well spent.

I was so thankful to find out there is a service for my specific need of unloading my truck. I was on a tight budget, and their rates were very reasonable. my coordiinator was Anestasia. She was very helpful. The movers were one hour late, however, they made up for it. They were professional, courteous, and worked steadily. They were patient and followed my instructions. My workers were Anthony and Mario, with Q Movers. They were a pleasure to work with. I have already recommended to a relative. I will definitly be using them again.

Eric and Mike were terrific! The were on time, had all the necessary equipment, worked hard and fast, were very strong, and were well-mannered and polite. They even shrink wrapped everything. The job took half the time I thought it would, so I asked them to move some very heavy pieces of furniture into my garage. The entertainment unit almost didn't fit through the door, but with some quick thinking they managed to maneuver it through the door. I highly recommend them. Diann
