They were fantastic! Hard-working, very efficient, and respectful of our belongings. We couldn't have moved without these helpers! I would highly recommend their services. Marcus and Sean were courteous and professional in every way. They listened to concerns and did a terrific job!

HORRIBLEGLO Moving Services was suppose to help me move at 9:30am. Well, after calling them every half hour for 4 hours and getting the answer, "Yo, we bouts to be on our way. What's your address again?" I received a phone call at 1:30pm from hireahelper.com to inform me that GLO Moving Services cancelled my order. These people not only didn't show up, but they were the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsiderate company you could imagine.

Gill and the guys were great. They did show up a little late due to traffic, but I deal with unpredictable beltway traffic everyday, so I can't really fault them too much for that. They were very pleasant, worked hard and (most importantly) smart, to get everything into our truck safely, with plenty of room and time to spare. They definitely made the move much easier and I appreciate them for it. Thanks your help!

I can't say enough good things about how well the owner, Gil, can pack a truck! We NEVER would've fit everything into our rented truck without him. He's also very professional and a super nice guy. (And our things arrived without so much as a scratch at the other end of a cross-country move)
Only one minor minor complaint... I do wish the company had let us know they'd be quite a bit late getting to us (well over an hour). Another job before us went way over schedule and I had to track down where the movers were. There also was some trouble on our job with one of the hired employees. However Gil handled it with complete professionalism.
All in all, I'd use Gil *ANY* day to load a truck for me!!

We were very happy with our movers. They were courteous and managed to maintain a professional and positive attitude despite the extreme heat on the day that we moved. My only gripe is that we reserved 4 men to do the job and only 3 were available - apparently due to a family emergency. Since they were only 3 men, the job took about 2 hrs longer than anticipated- but this could not be helped since they could not find a replacement at the last minute. Things happen. Overall, I would definitely work with this company again.

1) GLO movers did an excellent job - 8 out of 10 - They were courteous, careful, and well capable.
2) Correspondance with Liz (owner) - 7 out of 10 - Responsive to my calls, just wish she contacted me with info.
3) Timing and # of movers we requested - 1 of 10 - Life events happen that we cannot always control. Movers arrived 5 hours late as a previous job went array. A man got sick the night before, so we were down a mover, which also backed up the move.
Sometimes things don't go as planned. Be prepared to wait and don't expect timing to work out. GLO was probably much more responsive than other companies would be. Liz was fair and apologetic to the circumstances. The job was completed and done well. The timing and number of movers just didn't work out, which was frustrating, unfortunate and out of their, as well as our, hands.

I am happy with hiring the helpers from GLO moving. They were on time as promised and worked deligently. One thing I would like to note is that they did not bring a dolly. If they brought a dolly, unloading would be finished at least half hour shorter and they did not have to carry heavy things from my truck to second floor home by hands only. It looked very hard for them. I didn't understand why the moving service did not give their workers a dolly. I hired a moving service more than five times. It was the first time when the helpers did not bring their dolly.
