Morning of my move, I called Kiki's to confirm. They were short with me on the phone, but confirmed. I was given a one hour arrival window (1-2pm), and when they did not arrive by 2:30pm, I called Kiki's again. The person I spoke with was very apologetic, and said they didn't forget about me, just had some staffing issues, but would text me with an ETA shortly. One hour later (3:30pm), I still had not heard from them. Another half hour after that (4pm), I received a text from Kiki's stating they were an hour away (arriving at 5pm). They would have been four hours late. By then, I no longer needed their services, so I called Hire-A-Helper to cancel. I had to BEG to get my $400 back, after being told they could only give me 5% back because my moving window had already passed - despite the fact that they never showed. I would not recommend Kiki's Movers or Hire-A-Helper to anyone.

I really thought they wouldn’t come because the scheduled move day brought drenching rain. They said they would be there if the rain let up and the minute there was a break in the rain there they were. Because they were nearby a four man team arrived although I had booked only a two man job. All four guys got to work and loaded the truck in no time. I was still charged only for two guys. Everyone was good natured and easy to work and communicate with. A great job!

My original movers cancelled last minute, thankful Hire a Helper customer service was able to get Kiki’s Movers to come the same day. They arrive on time and was able to get the truck fully pack within the time frame.

The 2 people we reserved for 9 AM didn’t show up, but once we were put in contact with Chris, he went above and beyond to help us out. He arrived at 1:30 with 2 helpers, and they went to work right away unloading our huge truck. They were efficient and polite and got the job done just in time for us to get our truck back before the place closed. We recommend them highly.

A customer should prepare for moving day by keeping in communication with their assigned contact, and ensuring that our company has a good idea of what we will be moving, where we will be moving it from, if anything needs to be packed or wrapped, and any other obstacles we may face when completing the service so that we can have the proper tools and professionals to handle the move.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have completed various moves including local and long distance moves, large and small business moves, moves from 3 family apartments, single family homes and large apartment complexes.

Being able to meet new people while providing exceptional customer service to ensure that our clients are stress-free.

We provide our crew members with customer service training, lifting and carrying safety techniques approved by OSHA, loading skill training to ensure that moving trucks are packed efficiently and correctly, and packing skill training to ensure that our customers belongings are packed properly to avoid any damages.
