I honestly expected my experience with Euphoria Moving Company to be much better than it was.

There was one Latino gentleman on the team who was extremely professional. He wrapped my furniture properly, worked consistently, stayed focused, and handled everything with care. He was very cautious with my belongings and had a great attitude the entire time. Unfortunately, I do not know his name, but he was by far the most professional person there.

However, the rest of the experience was very disappointing.

One of the movers (an African-American man whose name I also do not know) left two closets full of boxes behind even after I did a full walkthrough explaining what needed to be moved. I was juggling a lot during the move and trusted that the team would double-check everything before leaving, but that clearly didn’t happen.

Hiring a moving company is supposed to reduce stress, not add more to it. I had a lot on my plate that day and expected a more thorough and organized process.

Another issue was the payment. I was told we went about 15 minutes over time, and I was asked to Zelle $50, which I still want refunded because I do not feel it was justified.

I also felt that the owner of the company was very nonchalant and moved slowly, which made the job take longer than it should have. I did not have a large amount of furniture, and the move should not have taken that many hours.

Because of the lack of thoroughness, the leftover boxes, and the payment issue, I unfortunately have to leave a negative review. The only positive part of my experience was the one gentleman who handled my furniture professionally.

Dear Meica,

We are sorry to hear you were unsatisfied with your moving experience. During our 9:00 AM arrival, the initial walkthrough of your two-bedroom apartment identified several large items, including a three-piece sectional and two queen beds requiring disassembly. Despite logistical challenges, such as the long walk to the elevator, our crew successfully loaded the 16ft POD, providing free straps to secure your items.

At the conclusion of the job at 12:30 PM, you confirmed everything was moved and authorized the additional hour of labor through HireAHelper. While we apologize for the boxes left behind and any confusion regarding the payment, we would have gladly returned to assist had we been notified.

Per your request from the review, we have refunded the $50 tip to the original Zelle account.

The 2 guys that helped me were wonderful. They were my saving grace. I was so stressed trying to pack everything for my PACKRAT shipping container and realized I couldn’t do it myself in time. So I called in the helpers last moment, and not only were they available, but they are incredibly capable and respectful. They knew exactly how to pack my furniture, electronics and artwork. One of the guys said he’s been doing this for about 10 years. We were even able to go over the 2 hours I booked at the same $ rate.

I am so incredibly grateful. Thank you so much for your help. I highly recommend this service!

Josh was so helpful. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me explaining all the things I needed to prepare for the move. I was so appreciative that he was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. He was vey helpful and patient. I felt so much more confident about the move after speaking with him. He even sent me photos of the exact items I needed to buy.

Also, DeMarcus and Daniel were great. They did an excellent job wrapping and securing all of our things. DeMarcus even taught me how to work the Ratchet straps. They were both very helpful, respectful, hardworking, and professional. I would definitely use them again.

****ty experience because while movers did move my things in a timely manner, they refused to refund me on the hour I had prepaid for packing which was no longer needed. This inflexibility is ridiculous, especially because I booked this HireAHelper which clearly was uselessly in its service

We'd prefer the customer clean the space being moved. If the customer is packing their belongings, please label according to what items and where (e.g. what room) you'd like them moved.

long distance, across the country (from Austin to Chicago, etc.), office moves, local, small moves, rearrange, multi-day moves (e.g. homes over 5,000 sq ft.)

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Seeing the euphoria on a customer's face after we've completed a move or job in a timely and efficient manner. There's no better feeling.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We train crew members on proper lifting, packing and customer service techniques.
