We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. Our main goal is customer satisfaction, in addition we are non smokers so were not taking any unnecessary breaks, we get in there and get the job done as safely and as swiftly as possible. Ogre man did a terrific job! They were prompt, courteous, fast and got everything loaded in less than what I'd contracted them to do. Too bad I'm moving out of the area or else they would be my "go to" movers!

When the delivery of my storage container was delayed, Ogre Man was very understanding and pushed back their arrival time. I used Ogre Man twice and they were friendly and respectful on both times. I highly recommend them.

If you like no-shows, hire these jerks. I read their good reviews and thought I had nothing to worry about... until the call came 45 minutes after their arrival window had already closed and it was Ogre Man telling me they weren't coming. Completely unapologetic, avoid at all costs.

No show. No calls. Unprofessional.
Ogre Man Movers was supposed to show up between 1pm-2pm to help us move our 1 bedroom apartment. At 2:30pm HireAHelper called to inform us that Ogre Man was stuck at another job at would be there a few hours late and would be at our place by 6pm. Ogre Man was unprofessional, as they should have called us once they realize they were going to be late. We never received a call.
At 6pm, I called Ogre Man and spoke to David. He informed me that the movers were on their way and that he told my wife the ETA already. By the time I arrived home from work around 7:30pm, I expected Ogre Man to have been onsite moving boxes already. But they no showed us. I called David, but he didn't pick up and his mailbox was full. My wife texted him, no replies.
This company is very unprofessional, they do not call when they will be late, and rather than telling us at 6pm that they could not complete our job, they said they were on their way and no showed us.

These guys hustled and did a great job unloading our moving truck. In 2 hours they had everything out and placed in the proper room for us. They arrived on time, were polite and we couldn't have done it without them! Thanks, guys!

They did a fair job, in a tough situation. The load went OK, but the unload took longer than it should have.
At one point they had an elevator full of boxes and furniture, and started to unload it on the wrong floor.
I'm thinking we'll try an alternative loading crew when we have to move out of this apartment.

Crew arrived 1 1/2 hours late, but apologized saying their previous job took longer than expected. They worked hard, fast and were done in less time than they had been hired for. I would recommend them.

Should have sent 4 people.
The first 2 times they came, they were loading our stuff into PODS for storage, and they arrived late. The "boss" David showed up the first time, and brought 2 helpers. The second time, just the helpers came, and took the whole 2 hours, and did not seem to have a good grip on what they were doing.
The 3rd time (moving from the house to an apartment), just the 2 helpers showed up (David had indicated he would be there also, but got called to another job), and took much longer to get the job done (at one point, instead of unloading an elevator on our floor, they started unloading it on the floor below, "not the sharpest knives in the drawer"). To be nice and to keep them working, we bought them some pizza. They did require lots of supervision.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
