Their contact David blamed placing glass shelves and two paintings in between standing saws and a wood table edge on -my supplies. I’d loved my movers but when I discovered the placement of these fragile items (after everyone in their company described the freight trucks as very rough -especially stops + starts) I was in distress. These pieces were in a crush point and headed a thousand miles down the road.

Called upset and sent photos. David stone cold blamed my wrapping, and when I said that was irrelevant to the placement he sat silently. He later blamed the stress of a move for my being upset. Never a shred of responsibility.

If I hadn’t needed to put up a bulkhead I’d not have gone behind the clothes rack and discovered the situation. There’sjidt no way these would have survived the move. I’m still having bad dreams about it. I mean, do a girl a solid and treat your customers with basic ethics / responsibility.

Mover's response:
Mam we have loaded thousands and thousands of trucks, pods, packrats, and abf containers. You have an ABF container which is essentially a 30ft freight trailer. You had a different company load the first half and were so rude to them they left your job incomplete and packed the unit horribly. You then hired us to finish the loading of your container, upon arrival you had ZERO moving blankets to protect your items and zero straps to secure items, on top of that, you had dozens of pieces of exposed glass, picture frames, and fragile items with absolutely no way of protecting them as you packed literally nothing is preparation for your move and had everything exposed. We had to flat load your items to ensure the safety of them due to lack of proper packing and lack of protective supplies, and to ensure minimal room for items to get damaged, nothing fragile that we loader was near any saws or anything that could damage them, everything you're saying is absurd, the previous moving company you had do the first half of the container loaded things incorrectly and you didn't want us to repack it you wanted us just to finish loading, we aren't going to be held accountable for a completely different companies incorrectly loaded items, thats just ridiculous. We also had to have you waive full liability as a result of you being completely unprepared for your own move. You then called throwing a fit, claiming we did our job improperly amd that everything was fragile, I tried to explain that nothing, not one single thing was boxed properly by you in preparation of your move and so items were packed by us properly to ensure the least amount of damage. You then tried to blame us for the other companies packing previously to which I corrected you and you apologized because you "forgot you used another company". You then proceeded to call multiple days in a row and I continued to explain how things should have been boxed in preparation of your move before we arrived to ensure an optimal tight pack, to which you stated "was irrelevant". You literally had dozens of pieces of glass, picture frames, and fragile items wrapped in nothing and had zero protective supplies but wanted us to stack things on top of each other? We literally packed things the exact way they needed to be packed to ensure the items were as safe as possible given the circumstances, but of course you obviously know how to do our job better than we do, we literally uploaded photos of the previous companies packing and everhthing we packed to your account and the stuff we loaded was packed perfectly, tight, and secured for transport even with tour lack of supllies and preparation... common sense isn't so common these days. Best of luck on your move and in life, you're going to need it!

They loaded a lot of stuff and did not damage anything but due to some issues I cannot give 5 starts. There were some issues. For instance, they placed empty boxes in the moving crate that we had to remove. They did not cover the beds in the moving protection bags that we provided. They left empty space in the crate that we had to rearrange and fill more stuff with.

Mover's response:
Hey sir, we used all your mattress bags, the one mattress that was left you did not have a cover for. You only had super heavy boxes and we needed to make a section tight so we asked you if we could use an empty box to wedge into a section to make it tight and you said of course, which was needed to protect fragile items such as tvs and a peloton bike from being damaged due to lack of proper protective moving supplies on your part (which is why we had you waive liability) but still tried to ensure the safety of your items and use an empty box to minimize any wiggle room within that specificwall of the pod as well as a protective buffer between frangile items. Additionally with the lack of proper protective supplies such as moving blankets and straps mixed with super fragile items we had to pack the last cpl feet of your pod a specific way to ensure the safety of those fragile items. In regards to space being left over you did not want to go over the reserved time (or the space would have been filled) so you asked us how to fill the remainder of the space so you could do it on your own without having to go into additional time. What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?

What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job.
