We are highly trained professional movers with many years experience, we only hire movers with a minimum of 5 years experience. We specialize in everything from small households, to warehouses, to antiques and priceless pieces of art, upright and grand pianos, and everything in between. This move was one of the longest, hardest, most stressful days of my life and .... Enters the Ogre Man Moving team and BLAM - everything was MAGIC!! Friendly, super helpful, so fast-thorough-careful, and just completely enjoyable. ENJOYABLE!!! That’s not a word that accompanies almost anything when it comes to moving and they made it so - With their positive attitudes, the care they showed for both my things and one another, and the obvious care they have for doing their job well - it was refreshing and exactly what I needed to feel at ease at the end of a very long, hard, day. I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you are considering any other moving team, for any other reason, STOP and just pick them - I swear it’s the best choice you will make about your move!!
They showed up on time (and it was a late PM move), ready to work (even after 3 other moving jobs that day), and just got absolutely all of it right. They didn’t just move things - they thought of how I’d be effected by how, when, where they moved things during the unload and it was the most positive experience I’ve ever had with movers - and I’ve moved, A LOT!
To top it off, I drove a 26 foot moving truck from Downtown Dallas to Austin (it was scary and hard and I had to really amp myself to make that drive in that rocket ship of a truck with all of my worldly possessions inside!) and they not only helped me park it for the best unload possible when they arrived BUT one of the movers was gracious enough to come BACK on his own time (after-hours, mind you!) to help me drive the moving truck to return it (it was late, and dark, and I already earned my HERO badge for the day with the first drive and I just didn’t have anything left “in the tank” to talk myself into driving that monster truck again!).
Have I said enough - you’re going to book them, right?! Do it now! They deserve to make money with how well they do the **** thing!
**IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The team member who came back to help me return the truck was paid separately (rightfully so, if I’d had a million dollars, I’d have given it to him!!) and agreed to this on his own terms completely separate from the move he was hired for. This may not always be possible if they have other moves or don’t have the time/ability for any other reason. I’m mostly noting this as a disclaimer on their behalf since this was my story and I’m grateful it worked out but I wouldn’t want anyone to think this is a service they HAVE to provide or feel cheated if it was not possible upon request for any reason.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
We provide a follow up call after booking, we go over the job details with you, answer any questions you may have in preparation for your move and offer any additional advice on packing items and what's needed for a safe and speedy move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We provide a phone call when en route to your move and as soon as we get to your location we do a walk thru to see what's being moved. We then start to wrap and protect items if we are loading, and get them into your truck or Storage container as safely and timely as possible. If its an unload, we do a walk thru to see the lay out of your home and ask where you want your belongings and then unload and unwrap your items safely and speedy. In both cases feel free to ask us to re arrange any of your items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To be best prepared to save time and money, everything should be packed and wrapped and ready for your move. However, we understand moving is quite overwhelming and can be a lot to deal with, in which case, were happy to come in and pack your entire household up, bring supplies such as boxes, tape, blankets, everything needed for a successful move. Then just sit back, put your feet up and let us take care of everything from start to finish.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have been in this industry for over 15 years and have seen and done it all. We do everything from nationwide cross country moves, to office moves, residential home moves, white glove services for art and sculptures, to grand and upright pianos, vehicle and motorcycle deliveries, as well as animal delivery and everything single thing in between. There is not a single thing we haven't encountered and are prepared for everything we come across.

What training do you provide your crew members?
What makes us special is that we only hire experienced movers with a minimum of 5 years moving experience, the average is 7 to 10 years. What that means, is that very little training if any is needed, but provided when necessary to meet our standards for quality. Experience and knowledge is shared between movers on every job so our team continues to get stronger and more knowledgeable with every job. We look forward to turning your most stressful day into an enjoyable experience.
