Those guys loaded a 5 bedroom house in 55min, and I even interruped them several times. Outstanding customer service. Aterwards, they help me move stuff too my garage. Very Helpful, MUAH

Mover was 45 minutes late for a job that was to begin promptly at 12:30, with 90 minutes to complete the job. The critical time nature had been discussed via telephone and email, so I can see no reason for misunderstanding. I can't tell you the amount of stress the late arrival created.

After arrival, the mover worked hard and respected property and goods.

I would use the services again if there is a meaningful discussion about arrival time expectations. I do not think the confusion would occur again.

Mrs. Crosby as you well mentioned this, situation will not occur again since that mover has been fired for not showing up for the job and putting everyone in a tight situation trying to find his replacement at the last minute..Especially since we are a very serious company and we value our customers time. I hired alliance for an unload, meaning all they had to do was take the boxes off the truck and take them into my apartment.

The positive is that they were very accommodating with my schedule. I scheduled a move between 5-6pm and hit so much traffic on a move to DC that I didn't arrive until 9:30pm. They were more than happy to still come.

The negatives were promptness and attention to detail. I came from a very small one bedroom and it took them 1.5 hours of the 2 hour block to unload the truck. My friend and I had loaded the truck on the way down (down a three story walk up) in 45 minutes. Also, at one point he asked me "are you going to grab that?" It is kind of ridiculous to pay $200 plus tip and have someone ask you that.

I also noticed that a bunch of the "feet" on my futon, bed, table had come off in route. Not to say they weren't lose but I found a couple of them in the hallway so that was sloppy on their part.

Overall, they were O.K. but certainly not great. The manager could also use some customer service skills.

The crew that was assigned for this job was very professional from beginning to end and with no complaints they waited for 3.5hrs which in total made it 5.5hrs to which they only charge 2hrs. On top of that they finished the job in 1.5hrs as u stated. You never paid $200 for this job since that is not our rate for 2hrs. Furthermore,when you are not satisfied with a service you don't tip. In addition to that ,you should have contacted us on the spot if something was wrong and not wait till now.

I had a great experience with both Hire-a-Helper and Alliance Movers. Both connections worked flawlessly, and the workers were both on-time and professional. We could not have moved the amount of property without their help. They took directions without any attitude, and quickly set about the tasks. They didn't slow down or stall, and I listened to their expertise on how to best pack the rental truck. Great work all around.
