The gentlemen called 10 minutes prior to their arrival, introdeced themselves and each shook my hand. They were polite, courteous, hard working and moved my items with care. The finishing process was well explained, simple and seamless. As a single parent I am often in need of the services of others. I was not disappointed and would recommend them to friends.

The team at S&L were wonderful to work with. They called to confirm their arrival time, showed up when promised and completed all the work quickly and efficiently. I had them pack and load my items. Hire A Helper did a good job but they are at the mercy of the moving companies with which they contract. They did respond quickly when Cloud Movers bailed on us and they did find a replacement and did absorb the additional fees charged by the replacement company and, after I complained that we had already unloaded 80% of the 16 foot truck we rented before the replacement team arrived, they did refund the tip I gave the movers. Truthfully, I'd have given them a RAVE if they had taken responsibility for the failure of Cloud Movers to show up. It might make sense for them to add a control system that requires their vendor moving companies to check in when they arrive - else Hire A Helper will call to see if there is a problem. That way the client, the movers and Hire A Helper can KNOW if something is amiss. Still, they ARE responsive and they seem to care. My advice: USE THEM but call THEM if your movers do not show up on time.

I was extremely happy with the moving services provided by S&L yesterday. I had a 26 foot truck unloaded into storage. My movers were on time, very courteous and helpful, speedy and hard working. I plan on using them again in a few months when we move into our new house. Thanks so much for making moving day stress free!

Two guys, worked quickly and hard, but were also very careful. Called ahead and asked if it was ok to come a little early, which worked out great. Whole job was done within about an hour.

We've noticed that customers who have items already packed and furniture items wrapped save time and money. However, we are more than happy to assist with any of these task the day of the move, just please book adequate time if any of these services are needed

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part is seeing customers looks of relief after we've assisted them and also knowing that our company assisted in minimizing some of the customers stress that comes along with moving
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our service providers and sub-contracted and most already have the needed skills to perform the job. I've heard that they stay updated by actual on the job experiences dealing with unexpected issues and how-to video guides available online
