SWFL Moving and Labor Services: We are a local employee owned and operated service specializing in the loading and unloading of PODs, trucks, ABFs and trailers. Our team members are strong, equipped, personable and, most importantly, knowledgeable in the moving industry. Pads, straps, hand trucks and furniture dollies are always on site to safely handle our customer's belongings. Packing and furniture assembly/disassembly can also be provided at no additional charge. We understand moving can be a nerve-wracking process which is why we place high emphasis on customer satisfaction; our crew is here to make your moving transition smooth and stress-free. If I could give 0 stars and say what I really want to say. So many of our items were damaged, at least $3000.00 worth. WRAPPED dressers were put on their side causing terrible damage, my wedding dress bag ripped with now a filthy dress. 4 out of 6 dining room chairs damaged, heavy duty black storage bins smashed with the lids broken.There is so much more, I called Brad the "owner" he seemed not interested to discuss anything and did not respond to a single picture I sent. I will be filing a claim with Hire a Helper against this company. I absolutely would never recommend them!

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
I always tell my customers that the most important part of preparation is having miscellaneous items packed into boxes for us to carry out. The same goes for glass and fragile items inside of drawers and cabinets, safely pad and box them separately for transport or have your service provider handle the box packing if it is part of the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
I handle both commercial and residential moves. I've handles specialty items, rare finds, antiques, statues, pianos, safes, fine art...
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The most satisfying part of being a mover is the smile on my client's face once they realize that their belongings are in good hands. My favorite part of this career is that I'm always building new relations and meeting new people with unique stories and up-comings.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are trained to attend to details. Anybody can man handle a piece a furniture, but it takes a trained mover to disassemble, pad, wrap and safely handle significant belongings with care. This is especially important when it comes to baby grand pianos, safes and appliances.
