Fantastic movers couldnt ask for better!

Movers were extremely careless with my things, leaving things on the side of the road unattended for hours, leaving things in hallways of my apartment building unattended, using glass items to hold doors open, setting my glass mirrored side tables and coffee table upside down on the glass top surface, when I expressed my discomfort with the carelessness of my glass items and ask them not to place them on the glass upside down I was told don’t worry I’ve been doing this for 14 years.
Somehow, my Louboutin’s were taken out of a box and placed on the side of the road for hours for anyone to come by and take, somehow my bedding was taken out of my boxes and thrown around the moving truck, I was so uncomfortable with how they were handling my items, I ended up sending them home before their time was up and having other movers come. When I called to report the broken items that they had broke I was met with denial, rudeness told they would deny the claim and hung up on me.
Reviews on hire a helper look positive, however, when I find reviews for this company on yelp, there are multiple negative reviews with similar experiences saying items were broke, things were stolen, or they were overcharged what was agreed on. I believe most of the positive reviews on hire a helper for this company are fake.

I hired Movers R US to assist with loading a moving truck for a two-bedroom apartment, scheduling them for a two-hour service. While the movers were on time and initially friendly, my experience quickly became problematic due to their slow pace and manipulative tactics.
From the outset, their efficiency was concerning. They moved items at an exceptionally slow rate, often taking only one box at a time and then staging it outside the truck for organization before finally loading. Despite having their own equipment, they consistently chose not to utilize a dolly, further contributing to the sluggish progress.
Approximately an hour into the job, it became clear their intent was to extend the service beyond the agreed-upon two hours. They intentionally left large, essential items like my bed and couch untouched, knowing I would be unable to move them myself. At this point, they presented me with a coercive choice: either they leave, or I pay for an additional hour. They even "offered" a cash discount of $120, implying it was a favor compared to the $140 charge through the booking platform. Feeling pressured and without other options, I paid the additional cash, which I believe was their goal from the beginning to secure an undeclared payment.
The extended time did not result in improved service. The packing of the truck was disorganized and inefficient. Notably, my couch was positioned in such a way that it became jammed inside the moving van, causing significant difficulty and wasted time for the movers who unloaded the truck at my destination.
In summary, Movers R US demonstrated a deliberate lack of urgency and employed manipulative tactics to force an unbudgeted cash payment for an additional hour of service. Their overall professionalism and the quality of their work were severely lacking. I would not recommend Movers R US to anyone seeking reliable and honest moving assistance.

They had great communication before the move and arrived promptly to start. Both men worked hard and worked together to get things wrapped and loaded into our pod. They were very careful with our items and finished up in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend them to others .

Both Patrick and Paul were early on my schedule time was 3pm. Patrick called me at 233pm that they will be at my house for my schedule which they showed up at 240pm.
They were both friendly, professional with me and my CNA whom I was getting her assistance during my schedule time with her and them on my loading of my PODS container. They both did their upmost best to load all my household items the best they can too. Yet unfortunately not all could fit in it yet they asked which one needs to go in the container and I was able to take several things to bring in my vehicle with no problem. Additionally they completely did it almost in my initial two hour schedule window. I just went over 15 minutes. They completed time was 5pm. So it was 15 minutes extra added to my invoice. My CNA asked for their business card for she wants to use them in her future move too.

We provide a 2-week paid training Monday - Friday. Training class is a hour and a half long.
