Received a call at about 8:30 to let us know they would not make it by 9:00. We were told they were finishing up another job. Arrived slightly after 10:00am. They brought 4 guys instead of 2 so they could "knock it out". This was a very simple move. All that was needed was for the truck to be unloaded and items placed in garage. Truck was pulled up to garage. Only a few items had to be taken up one flight of stairs, and there was no assembly required. After about 45 minutes of very lethargic movement, 2 of the guys took a break for about 15 or 20 minutes. They stated they didn't get sleep the night before and were exhausted when they arrived. This was pretty pathetic that B&L would put their help in this position, we paid top dollar and received mediocre service. Would not recommend these movers!

Bob and AJ were terrific! They handled everything respectfully and carefully and expeditiously. They even saved me a linear foot in the trailer I had rented. They know what they're doing and I'd definitely recommend them. I only wish they were on the other end of my move to help me unload!

B&L sent two great reps to help us: Michael and AJ. They arrived between 9 and 10 AM as requested and worked hard to problem solve and do the job efficiently. They were both very polite and pleasant as well, and even found the problem with our truck topper and showed me how to fix it. We were both impressed and very satisfied. Hire A Helper is the best, easiest to use service I've ever used. A+ everyone!

Lewis and his team did an awesome job and were able to load my 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment into a rental truck in about 1.5 hours. The furniture was packed very neatly and securely. They were not afraid to work hard and get sweaty! Would definitely recommend to a friend!

Same Day Moves
We charge an extra 15% for same day requests.
Next Day Moves
We accept next day requests at our normal rates.
Refunding Unused Time
We do not refund for any unused time.
Extra Hours
We can always stay at least 2 hours over the prebooked time.
