Star Struck Movers were amazing guys to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Sean and John. From the minute they arrived they got to work. The job wasn't easy, there was a lot of walking involved since the loading dock was actually quite far from my apartment but that did NOT stop them. With drive like I have never seen before and an incredible work ethic, they were able to move all my items (1 bedroom apartment - included bed, work desks, sofa, dinner table, 23 boxes AND MORE) in 2 hours and 15 minutes, of which not a single second was wasted. Both Sean and John were really nice guys, and in the middle of the non-stop moving we still had some nice chats. Sean did an amazing job at packing the truck itself. I didn't have any ropes to hold things down with, so Sean somehow (really maybe magic?) organized things such that not a single thing shifted when I drove over 250 miles. Honestly, if I ever move again you bet I'm calling these guys. I had just had a horrible experience with a moving company that bailed on me the day before my lease expired, and StarStruck Movers showed up and quite literally saved the day, all the while saving me some real money. So I guess the question is.... should you hire these guys? The answer is an incredibly resounding YES!

Star Struck Movers was incredibly helpful while loading our truck for our move across they country! They were on time, prepared, and respectful of our needs and property. They were super knowledgeable about the best way to load the truck for our journey and helped minimize our loading time by a couple of hours with their help! Definitely would recommend to help with your move!!

Context for this review is my original movers just completely blew off our scheduled appointment. Hire A Helper came through by connecting me with Star Struck for later the same day. They did the original job and even provided an additional human at no extra cost to me. Pretty good lemonade out of that lemon of a situation. They are an independent company. I was confused because I searched for them outside of Hire A Helper, but it seems like they only hire through this site currently. Hopefully they'll make their own space (even if it's just Facebook or something).

Yes
"Were they prepared for the job?"
They were - had to improvise with a plastic bag to tie down something, but solutions are solutions.
"Did they work hard?"
Yes - they moved some pretty large items out of a small basement
"Were they respectful of your property and goods?"
Yes - everything moved undamaged. Some things from drawers and such fell out, but nothing of value.
"Would you use them again?"

Awesome job. We were in a bind and they came through for us. Very professional and amazing packing job! Thought we wouldn’t have enough space and we ended up having too much that we had to strap things off. Would definitely recommend.
