We hired movers this time to save ourselves from the headache, and labor on our bodies. The two movers Thomas and David we’re scheduled to be at our 1 bedroom 1000 sq.ft. place between 8-9am. They arrived around 9:05am and stared work at 9:15am. They were nice and reviews were good so didn’t think twice about booking. Thomas said he had 8 years of experience packing pods. We told them to pack it tight and felt comfortable he had 8 years of experience. So after 4 hours I decided to cut them loose because they told us the pod was packed tight and no more of our big items would fit (about 30 % being left), we were going to have to leave a 65 inch TV, 7 huge mirrors, two wardrobe boxes, huge room divider, three big rugs, tons of small items, and boxes. So we went to look after they left, there were so many holes, nothing packed tight, looked just thrown in. So we unpacked the pod and reloaded it and we’re about to get the majority of things left loaded in the pod. They did a horrible job packing by not packing it tight, not secure, it was either inexperience or laziness. We would have had to leave thousands of dollars worth of our items and clothes. For $460 total with tip it was a complete waste of money. I went with this company because of the good reviews of pod loading. I would have paid them more hours if they knew what they were doing. So if you want to give your money to nice people that do an awful job loading your pod go with this company. But please look for someone us.

Helpers showed up on time. They
Started work immediately and work continuously through an extra hour which I needed to have. They were very respectful of my furniture some of which is antique a lot of glass. They blanket wrapped everything properly I provided the blanket wrap and strapping tape and the tie-down ropes. everything worked perfectly. did a great job and I am looking forward to working with them when I move back in .

Thomas and David did a great job. Showed up around 9, we walked through everything and they started getting things done. Very professional, helped with adding items I need to protect my things better. Moved along while I got more blankets. Just wonderful job and took measures to care for my things.

They moved everything into the house fairly quickly. It wasn’t a lot of furniture, mainly boxes. However one thing I do have a real problem with is they put my bed together wrong. It started squeaking when I laid down and when I looked underneath part of the base was off the ground. The screws were still in a bad taped to the board. I had to take the mattress off, take the bed apart and put it together myself again after an exhausting day of moving. Sort of defeats part of the purpose of having movers. Had I slept in it like they left it would’ve been broken by morning and I would have needed a new bed.

Tony, Andresa & Thomas are very knowledgeable and professional movers. They took a walkthrough of the house and quickly developed a plan for wrapping and loading. From our baby grand piano to the last box the POD was packed securely. We were impressed and will certainly recommend them for your moving needs.

All furniture was blanket wrapped ( with our blankets) & the wrapped in plastic.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After booking with us you can expect a phone call from our offices just to reach out and get a feel for your unique situation. We will go over all needed supplies and firm up all the details.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Upon moving day you will receive a call from your movers within an hour of your booked arrival window. The movers will reach out just to make sure everything is still going according to plan and will give you their expected GPS arrival time. We know that nothing is more stressful than being nervous that the movers aren't gonna show up, so we like to put your mind at ease.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
If you will be hiring us to load your rental truck, trailer or portable shipping container it is imperative that you provide an adequate amount of moving blankets, plastic stretch wrap and rope to avoid serious damage to your items. The blankets can usually be rented with your truck or portable shipping container and are worth every penny. We can provide rope and plastic wrap for an additional fee or it can be purchased at Lowe's or Home Depot in the moving supplies section.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have handled literally every type of move from local to long distance, from household to office/commercial. We have handled everything from medical equipment to flight simulators and we are equipped to move large items such as pianos and grand pianos.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part about being movers is that we get to help someone with literally the hardest and most stressful task of their adult life.
What training do you provide your crew members?
All of our crew leaders are required to have a minimum of 4 years professional moving experience and upon hire, undergo at least 2 weeks of training with the owner of the company (a very particular veteran mover in the industry) before being set free to operate independently. All crew members undergo the same training and we typically only hire crew members who possess at least 2 years minimum professional moving experience. We don't send rookies, period.
