Big Boy Movers was awesome! I hired 3 movers for 2 hours and they not only got everything done that I'd hired them for, they were so fast that there was time left over for them to help me with a few other things. They saved me time and they saved my back. While they were very fast they were also careful and respectful. I was very comfortable having them in my home and the only negative was that I can't take them with me to help unload at my new house.
The 3 movers arrived on time (to the minute) and there weren't any hidden fees.
I would highly recommend Big Boy Movers for any moving job you have. You won't be disappointed. They are great!

Wow! What a great experience we had with our move-in. The guys were a little late....just minutes(called ahead so it was a-ok), were prepared for the job, worked EXTREMELY HARD, were respectful of our property and goods. Nothing was broken. The key is to get uniform boxes, tie everything into trailer, pack things well, and to get good moving labor helpers. We moved from OK to UT.

I have used movers on three occasions, and each time I keep changing companies because the movers are nothing short of horrible. I wanted to give up using movers but had to turn to one again. These movers were excellent. They didn't take offense to me asking them not to pack and pad everything as if my ikea furniture had any value. They didn't try to build a long carpet into my house, remove doors, or hide in the basement pretending to move my washer. They were awesome. They helped move things I didn't think they would be able to lift. They walked in the door and started working right away. They worked so hard the entire time and were finished way before I expected. I was quoted a price and for the first time ever I actually paid the price I was quoted. Definitely the people you want to use.

Big Boy movers is not a company I would employ again. I hired 2 workers for 2 hours and ony one person showed up for the move. The second person did arrive 10 minutes prior to the completion of the scheduled 2 hours.
Big Boy movers then charged the full amount for 2 movers despite the fact that I paid for 2 people. Big Boy Movers need to re-evaluate their business ethincs!

The 2 young men that came out from Big Boy Movers did a awesome job. They came early worked hard put things where and how I asked them to. I can't recommend them enough, they were nice gentlemen clean catted about our things, honest,I can't say enough nice things. The price was more than fare. We just moved from Minnesota so we knew nobody and took AC chance with hire a helper and I am very satisfied, thank you so much!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
The customer can expect to receive a text confirming the date and time of the job. Through this communication they can also add any additional information that might be helpful such as: heavy items, long walks, specialty items, parking arrangements, etc.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will be on-site within the arrival window given. They will then do a walkthrough of the premises in order to strategize best practices for your individual relocation. They will then go over paperwork and begin the move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Any prep the customer does on their end will quicken the move saving the movers time and, in effect, the customer money. Prep may include: breaking down beds, emptying drawers, clearing a walkway throughout the house, etc. Of course if these things are not done before hand, the workers will willingly do them when they arrive.
What types of moves have you handled?
After so many years in the industry there is nothing we haven't seen. We've done something so small as moving a couple of pieces of furniture to another room to relocating five thousand pound printing presses across town. We've relocated customers from California to Maine and everywhere in between. We can provide packing materials, packing services, loading services, transportation, unloading services, and unpacking services. In short there's nothing we can't do in this industry.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The bet part of the job is seeing the relief in the customers' faces when they see that they don't have to move anything or stress about someone else moving their possessions. it always makes me smile when they visibly relax. Moving doesn't have to be stressful.
What training do you provide your crew members?
The onboarding process for our movers is extensive. Probably the part I like the best about our company is that 100% of our workers are referrals from workers we already have. That means the guys we hire are already vetted by our own employees who would never want to work with someone unreliable or lazy. In fact when we interview a person we already know what kind of work ethic and character he or she has after talking to the person that referred the potential worker. Our workers are as good as it gets.
