They packed my POD from 2 storage units in California and did a fine job. I didn't see it in person when it was done but my friend took picture and I was impressed. They even swept the storage units. First a little context on the type of customer we are and why Lucky Movers was a perfect fit:
This was our first time using professional movers and our main need was loading a moving Truck which we would then drive halfway across the country. We hired a 3 person crew for 2 hours for our 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor.
Here's 5 Reasons Why They Get 5 Stars:
1. Incredibly clear communication, they confirmed our appointment multiple times. They arrived early with all of the needed gear. They did an overview of our space and needs before diving into the move!
2. Incredibly respectful of our property. These guys are experts and meticulous with their wrapping of furniture, placement of boxes, and strapping everything down.
3. We got stuck with a 26 foot truck and they maybe used a quarter of the space. Expertly packed and secure. After a multi state move not a single thing shifted or was damaged.
4. We went over on our allotted time (no fault on their team, we weren't fully packed yet!) and Ivan was very kind and transparent about the pricing changes. There were no surprise charges.
5. Above and beyond kindness! They helped us back up the truck into a better space, answered our questions sent months in advance, dealt with multiple staircases and tight corners, and finally they set aside a chair so an elderly parent could read their book by the truck!
These guys are awesome! Hire them now!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Expect a call from us within a couple days. Feel free to call, email or text us as well.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Expect us to come on time, be fully prepared and fully equipped on your moving day. We might give you a call upon our arrival to confirm the arrival time. Expect courteous and professional work by our movers.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Make sure to prepare a few moving blankets and may be a plastic bag for your matress. We will deliver the rest for your move.
What types of moves have you handled?
Currently we handle local and long distance moves going as far as 300 miles
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
It's meeting new people every day and seeing new places. Some workout is also big plus.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our movers to be precisly polite and respectful to the customer's household and its belongings. New members learn at first how to wrap and protect and handle the things. Maneuvering and moving large furniture skills next. We train our movers how to pack a pod or truck like playing the tetris game.
