INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. The two movers texted me ahead of their arrival and showed up on time. They worked very hard, including moving a 1926 antique victrola (it's very heavy) down four flights of stairs. They did a great job with taking care of my things and were very polite. I would definitely recommend them again.

I moved into a 6th floor walkup from Atlanta (where we don't really have walkups). Planning the move was so stressful. Deciding what to take and not take was daunting. As I packed, I thought "how will this get up the stairs?" Hiring two great guys from Promove saved me. Both showed up within the given window (one exactly at 3, and the other a half hour later) and were ready to attack it. They made good suggestions and were open to mine. I booked for three hours and we did it in 75 minutes. Now, you'd think I'd want a credit back for the unused time, but nope. It's money well spent. Promove is like hiring more friends to help you move. Highly recommended.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We always show up! On time arrival within the first 20 minutes of the one hour window, with an experienced, professional and courteous crew.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Please have items packed and ready to go (large boxes not too heavy please), furniture blankets to protect your stuff, appropriate size truck for the move. Then wooosah! we got you, you're things are in capable hands.
What types of moves have you handled?
Local, Long distance, Office, Commercial, Specialty moves (larger & fragile medical equipment).
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
No gym membership needed, we get paid to exercise. Our worksite is different everyday & we interact with new people.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Two weeks of moving technique (lifting, turning, angles), teamwork, pacing, basic disassembly/reassembly and materials handling as well as customer service is our basic training. Then more experienced movers ( Courtney, Eric, Yusef, Azar, Ken) have advanced training for loading moving vans.
