Relocation with Rental Truck Help LLC ( Moving Labor Only )

Crews are all MEN and not college temp kids and can only speak English. Also we do NOT send trainees on hireahelper jobs. Handtruck dolly, 4 wheeler also appliance dolly, tools, and a cart dolly for elevator jobs all included no extra. Tie-down rope and tape is free. (FREE 12 furniture pads for all load jobs now, also on sale for 2.49 a piece thereafter if you want more). If you have 2 16ft pods/containers/packrats a 2man crew is the PERFECT choice no need for 3-4man on those unless you have a 3 or 4man piece which is extra as well. 3rd floor and above MUST have elevator for apartments/condos unless its 8ft container or smaller, if its bigger then that then must HAVE elevator. Homes are ok. MUST add amount of flights of stairs when booking. This system has been working great. Best start times with us are 7-8am 8-9am, 1-2pm 2-3pm, or 5-6pm. Do not book us to load furniture first and say load boxes after if your itchin for it all to fit this rarely works and this is where damages occur. We mix it in accordingly otherwise you lose space in the longrun. Book us to load properly our way if you have a certain way you want it loaded do NOT book us. Do not book us if your on a 2hr rush move with over 15ft truck or so, try 3 or 4 man crew for that. We want to move safely. One-way furniture pads on site for Pods and on all jobs now it's for loads (on sale 2.49 a piece if you want, includes our tape we use and tie down rope). Our pads are double ply 60x72 just a big as the cloth pad great for one way use. These our for customers who have no pads or just not enough (Please do not complain about pads, they are there because of the many customers who didn't have any and this is a life saver to them). We want every customer to have the opportunity to get the job done right. And if you have Marble tops or Glass please keep extra boxes to use to protect these items. We try to carry some used boxes from previous customers but that's limited and not guaranteed we use the pay it forward method. Remember you booked a time slot we can't get back. We do multiple Apartment Moves and Private Estate moves as well. For more detail's just read below. STRETCH WRAP IS USED ON COUCHES AND LOVE SEATS AND RECLINERS IF CLOTH (unless it's going to be over 14 days then it needs to padded first as well). NOT ON OTHER FURNITURE. IF OTHER FURNITURE IT WILL NEED TO BE PADDED FIRST. 2-Crew members can handle 1-3 pods or up too 26ft truck. Over 10 years experience. Remember if your just browsing put in your move date. And remember our movers don't talk about time on the job. Be prepared don't make any dinner dates. Also as a reminder Piano and Safes are extra. Very efficient. Box tv's to flat screens. Treadmills to elliptical's. Safety and safely is key. We moved it. With pods you get a crew leader that ties off every 4ft. Same with pack rat container. If you don't have furniture pads please request from us. Typical 16ft pod uses 30-60 pads. $3.99 on sale now for 1.99 per one-way double ply paper pad(our pads and includes our tape) vs $7 dollars cloth pad. It's adds up but saves the furniture. We just want to get it loaded right. We're more into loading. We are ready to go. If your not sure where to start. We do not do specialty services such as putting together items that are brand new in box, like desk, tv stands, shelves. So no NIB items. We only see NIB items maybe 3 times a year out of 1000 of moves. *We bring the pad's because of the many situations where we run into a customer who has no pads. We can't be pro's if your not ready for us. Our paper pads our much cheaper and last for a one way trip. 25 cloth furniture pads can cost alot thier meant to be used over and over again You could get 25 one-way paper furniture pads for less then $100 with us. And they are the same size. We always have them on site if needed. Don't get us because of our low prices. Get us because you want it done right. Remember you may need extra hours. We don't throw and go. Thanks, remember our crews would not work for just an hour, they get paid a 2hr minimum as well. We get silly request about hr job's, those are fine but you pay the minimum. Also we have customers that have no clue how to run a moving business. If you book say 3 or 4 crew members, you get a crew leader, an assistant to crew leader a small item carrier and box and padder (padder depending on load or unload) Some people think you get 3-4 crew leaders that does not work. Thanks so much. I hope we covered it. For future customers. If calling and you dont recieve a text back its because we are driving and the phone blocks it. We see your call and will contact asap by text if on a job. During busy days expect a call back in evening. If its a same day customer were heading too we pull over and call back. If you booked you are on our calendar. Best to text its quickest response. Keeps it flowing nicely

Took an hour to move a sectional that is completely separate pieces from living room to POD on driveway. No stairs.
The Father-Son duo was not a good team. Disappointed for sure.

Mover's response:
Thanks i went back to look at notes and pics of load the couch was padded and strectwrap also. We didnt load it in one tier we made a wide tier and another being over sized wrap around couch. We didnt go in and get it all at once we filled in around it. Job was completed in time. We took extra care for couch. To not get a bad review. If we didnt pad it yes would be faster but not safe. We can take this knowing we loaded it and protected it the correct way. And within time. So yes the couch was not out all at once. It was separate pieces loaded where needed. It would have been nice if you would have came out to see how it was loaded. Thiers a sysytem too it. I completely understand how you thought it took awhile after it was padded.

Four men showed up. One was an older gentleman and he was not that helpful and could not lift heavy items. He couldn't wrap well, and spent 10 minutes wrapping a table and didn't even finish, he gave up! Mt sister wad there and sat and watched this man and he contributed maybe 1/3 as the others. Even I had to re-wrap some of his items. It was like they gave him 'busy' work. They mislead that they do wrapping with plastic, they used tape on all the blankets instead. I also had to repeat myself several times to each member, it was not like they talked to each other as a team.

I talked with the owner while they were packing. They til a break and once even left and went to a drive thru. They were not able to stay past the initial time (they did stay 30 min 15 extra +makeup time for the break) they didn't finish and told me this at the end. They spent extra time trying to force things through the back door when I told them they needed to take it or the front door - again more wasted time as after 15 minutes they went out the front door anyway. They left my gates open when they was no way to take ANYTHING through the yard to the POD. The PODS blocked the driveway gate - yet they left the gate open and my dog got out! The seconds 'new' crew was not impressed with some of the packing done by the crew and had to redo some of the packing. The way they packed had some chairs unwrapped and they were stacked in a way they were collapsing other boxes upon initial packing! Needless to say, I was in a hotel for two nights due to this re-scheduling. Do not believe that they will stay longer that the initial booking, even though their write up said they could be there additional 2 hours and I did book what Hire a Helper recommended for labor.

Mover's response:
Oh i remember this one. In 10 years we have always done the jobs the same. She totally understood after we talked on phone. Her confusion was she didn't know we used tape, her thing was she just didn't want the tape, which was odd never heard of that. I have never had a customer want just stretch wrap on the pads. But at that point she understood we even put the strech wrap over the pads that were taped. That's how we have always done it. Usually a customer just wants strech wrap on a few items, she wanted it instead of tape. Which I told her was ok at that point. See all items that our strechwrap on a pod need to be padded first. But don't need to be strech wrapped. I thought that was the issue, so when clearified we were strech wrapping everything for her as requested she just didn't understand the tape. She was even trying to break up the 4 man crew and have them all do different things. We are a team we go in as a team. A customer must calI me the boss to try and tell the workers how pad and load, their our certain items that can have extra insurance on it and need more padding, that was not on your order and it's only seen about 3 times a year on over 900 orders, so that was not the case. We have to do it a certain way otherwise we lose jobs and actually couldn't even go back 10 years to think of a situation like this, she just booked it wrong for herself. We had asked to stay and she cut us off. But we still offered the extra time that we had to spend on phone to let her understand how she book for free. She just booked it wrong with us. She did waste time repeating stuff to my crew and it slowed them down that's why my crew notified me to call her and explain how we pad and load . That was mentioned in the phone call too . She was trying to have them do stuff the wrong way which would of caused damages. We took our steps to get the customer back on track. In the end we were both happy and she was able to get the rest done how she wanted it. We did our job as we say we will. She did mention to me on the phone and to my crew several times, that she only wanted it done the "Renee" way not our way or hireahelpers. She started badmouthing the way she booked it. It's not our fault, after having her read how she booked she understood we were doing our job, she was just trying to change it and make it unsafe for us, but she could hire non movers and maybe get it done her way. Which it sound like she did. Sometimes that works the best if you don't want to hire professionals, just get some off the street labor that need guidance and will do whatever you want and hope for the best. She did tell us she wasn't gonna finish the job with anyone from hireahelper so I'm not sure who she had finish it. It wasn't just us that told her this. Go figure.

Fast and professional. Wonderful job!

Mover's response:
Thanks and remember customers a 2man crew is different then a 4man crew, With 4man crew you won't get 4 crew leaders, you get a 4man team with different duties, your typical 2man crew plus 2 more that will help pad-unpad be a box runner for a load or unload. If you try to break up our 4man crew and have them do stuff your way it will fail. You have to hire us and let us do our job. We don't go to your job and hire you and sit at your desk and tell you what to do. That's just how it is. You got to understand if we sent what looked like an Allstar team of 4 crew leaders out there (which I would never do), my regular 4man crew will outperform them, You don't want 4 crew leaders "Allstars", just one, and only 1 person talking to the customer, not the customer trying to coach 4 crew members on our job. It never will work in your favor. Why waste your time to try that just to leave us a bad review when we told you not to do that already. It only slows us down and gets us unorganized.

I had a team of four to load my 3,000 sqft house into two PODS. The team communicated well with me about how I wanted the the furniture and appliances to be protected and moved. They were on time and efficient getting everything moved. I was extremely pleased with the service provided and the team. I would recommend them and plan to hire them again when it’s time to unload the PODS.

Tony & Dave were quick, efficient, friendly and took care with our items. Very hard workers!

The guys were great! Very professional! I have moved well over 20 times being that I am retired military and I have to be honest, I have witnessed some moving professionals with bad attitudes and bad work ethics. However, not these guys, they were motivated to get the job done, had an awesome attitude, and worked very hard and efficiently! The crew lead took charge and his teammate JJ was all over it! Appreciate it guys! Thanks!

Get To Know Us

What can a customer expect after booking with you?

We know some customers that book ahead more then just a few days ahead like to talk a few times. That's fine that's what were here for. Also our crew are all Men

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

We bring Pads on all jobs we know if Pods it's nearly a must have, also with Uhual or other Rental trucks they sometimes limit how many pads they give you. Or you just don't have enough. Either way we bring pads it's only item we bring to the job that is extra if needed. The pads are 2.49 on sale now and we only charge you for how many you use and at end of job.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

Anything a customer can do beforehand is great. Take anything apart, put mattress in bags. Please take baby cribs apart. Also any water lines like on fridge or washer is awesome if it's already done. And put a box of baking soda in the fridge it helps keep the odor out during storage or transfer

What types of moves have you handled?

Have done it all, However just on office moves cubicles must have someone on hand to show how they come apart or go together. They are not items you want to move around and expect to be perfect again after moving. Same goes for any particle board items.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Get to travel all over DFW, it never gets boring. Always can find a good place to eat around jobs.

What training do you provide your crew members?

All our crew members on hireahelper jobs have been moving over 5 years. It's not bring your buddy to work today its moving. Were all MEN and not college temp kids. This isn't a side gig, it's our full time job.
