We provide efficient and safe moving labor. Disassembly and assembly of furnishings is always at the discretion of the movers. Packing/Unpacking/Loading/Unloading Any supplies requested will be at an additional cost to the shipper. Heavy pianos and safes over 400# will be an additional $125 each.

The provider called the night before to "warn" us that we may not have a moving crew in the morning. Which sent us into a panic.
The next morning, I called Hire a Helper to see if our movers were still coming. They said to check back after 9am if the movers still didn't show up.
Received a call about 30 minutes later from the provider, telling me that they received a call from Hire a Helper, and asked why I called them. I told the provider it was because we were concerned movers weren't going to show. He seemed annoyed that I had called Hire a Helper. He told me movers were on the way. That they would be there within the next hour.
The movers showed up an hour late to the assigned start time.
The two movers became irritated with each other and couldn’t agree on how to pack the unit. I had left to run a moving errand, and within that time, the two had escalated with my wife present. They almost got into a physical brawl. One mover was cursing and arguing with the other. I returned to both of them, unwilling to work together. We exchanged calls with the provider between the workers and us. Eventually, my wife stayed with one worker at the unit, while I helped the other worker bring furniture, the heaviest of our furniture, to the unit. The reason why we hired movers was so we didn’t have to move heavy furniture!
Ultimately, after the remaining heavy furniture was loaded, we asked the workers to leave. The mover who drove the other mover refused to give him a ride. They argued loudly in front of the garage and driveway. We had to yell at them to leave the premises. We locked the doors and shut the garage to the house as one of the workers was milling around the house.
After they left and we felt safe, my wife and I loaded the remainder of the unit and left 3 hours later than we had anticipated.
We've hired a few different moving companies over the years. This was the absolute worst experience. Would never recommend.
Unfortunately, the driver who was scheduled to do the job had an alternator go out on his car and didn't communicate with me the night before, so I had to scramble to get a crew out to the job on the day of. I proactively called the customer the night before to inform them of the situation, but I fully intended to send a crew to help them, though Eric made it sound like a crew was never going to come. It took longer because equipment had to be retrieved from others. I hope these results will never happen again.

TJ and Brian were on time and got right into loading right after a quick walkthrough. I had some doubts as to whether everything was going to 'fit' on the truck, but they got it all on board. TJ really packed it in tight. Incredible !
