We provide efficient and safe moving labor. Disassembly and assembly of furnishings is always at the discretion of the movers. Packing/Unpacking/Loading/Unloading Any supplies requested will be at an additional cost to the shipper. Heavy pianos and safes over 400# will be an additional $100 each.

Mike and Joe were amazing. They were extremely efficient and got us moved in with 0 issues. They kept us laughing the whole time and made the experience fun & easy. I also requested their assistance the morning of my move and they still came ASAP. They took care of the floors in our new house with all the melting snow, and dealt with a lot of bulky odd shaped furniture that we had.

They showed up about 45 minutes late. Well, one guy showed up and the second was late. Didn't bring any door stops or anything to accommodate moving in the snow. They were strong and impressive, but I felt they worked a bit slow? I booked two movers for two hours but it was closer to three and a half hours and the manager showed up at one point to help. A few furniture items had minor damage, but it's not fine furniture anyway, so it didn't bother me. What did bother me, greatly, was that it appeared one of my boxes had been dropped and had split open. I can't be certain whether it split on the journey across the country or during the move, so I didn't say anything. It was a box full of ceramics, of all things, and many of the items inside were broken. One item, very, very sentimental for me, was broken and only half of the broken pieces have been found, so I cant even assemble it fully anymore. Did they know about this mistake? If they weren't responsible I would think they would have let me know it was already broken. Needless to say I was incredibly upset. Also, they were there until 5:45 p.m. and I had to be across town for work at 6:00 p.m. They were scheduled to be finished by 4:00 p.m.
But overall, despite the negatives I've focused on, they were available to book within 24 hours and were a reasonable price. The additional fees were reasonable too. I would not be against hiring them again if I needed to.
As I recall, the helpers both arrived within the 1 hr start window. I was not made aware of any damages during the move. I have asked the helpers if they were aware of any damage that occurred during your move. Sorry for any inconveniences with your schedule, however, there was an unusual amount of small book boxes and it was a long carry distance between the POD and the apartment, which made the time exceed the normal 2 hrs for unloading a POD. You are welcome to file a damage claim through Hire-a-helper. If I determine that damages were our fault, I am willing to reimburse you some of your cost for the move.
