We provide efficient and safe moving labor. Disassembly and assembly of furnishings is always at the discretion of the movers. Packing/Unpacking/Loading/Unloading Any supplies requested will be at an additional cost to the shipper. Heavy pianos and safes over 400# will be an additional $100 each.

At first Mike called and asked if we could move our time because of the Vikings game. Seriously? If football is that important then don't be listed as available.

The service was barely acceptable at best, but the owner Mike is a terrible boss. I let him know that his guys were taking smoke breaks after 30-40 minutes, so we didn't have any discrepancies in how much time it took to move. I also let him know we were moving instead of them since they were on their repeated smoke breaks, which is not the service I expected. He asked my "Why did you unload the truck, if you wanted them to do it." I don't know, because we paid for 2 hours and your guys are taking breaks every 30 minutes! Then after I told him our business was completed his text was, verbatim, "I am not their daddy... Sorry"

They had dropped a few items and broke some things. I guess you get what you pay for.

Unbelievable. Save your money and go with someone else.

Thanks for your feedback Clayton. FYI, the last 17 customer reviews that I had received were all 5 star reviews. Just because you had asked for a noon start, it doesn't imply that you have no flexibility for a different time. Thus, that is why I asked if we could serve you at a different time. Also, since you hired moving labor help, it is not expected that you will move any of your items, but if you choose to, that is entirely out of our control. A large share of movers smoke and do that on their breaks. I can't control when or if they decide to smoke, but you can let them know what you expect of them, if you are not satisfied with their conduct, since you are present with them. Besides, they might be more willing to adhere to your expectations while performing the job, since you are the paying customer. Certainly, the break periods shouldn't be counted as work time, but I was informed that the helpers started the job at noon, as scheduled, and one of them was already home by 2pm, when I contacted them to see if they had finished the job. We have a minimum charge of 2 hrs per job and yours took less than 2 hrs to complete, even though the helpers took smoke breaks. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with what help you received, but they completed the job well within the 2 hr min period. This review was the only time that you had mentioned damage to your items. You have the right to claim those damages through Hire-a-helper's insurance policy, as long as you can prove that it was the helpers who damaged your items. I'm also sorry that I couldn't be present to serve you better, but I was working on another job which required a truck rental and was a personal referral.

Mike was fantastic. Arrived on time, never stopped working efficiently from arrival time.
Mike ran his team well while loading the POD container. Thr team was also very careful with our belongings and Mike packed the container as well as anyone I've seen previously. No space was wasted but he packed intelligently.
Would recommend.

Not only did they fit me in with basically 24 hours notice and a full work day already scheduled, Michael and the movers were all so freaking nice and didn’t complain about the cold weather or our bad packing job hahaha. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
